Engineering
HYFLO is the ideal engineering partner to local and global markets, with over 50 years expertise in the Fluid Power Industry. Our experienced engineers are equipped with advanced technology to design, manufacture, install and commission complete hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Hydraulic and pneumatic solutions are engineered at our facilities in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. The branches are supported by wellequipped workshops and experienced artisans. Advanced 3D technology permits efficient and timeous construction of high quality powerpacks. This allows for compact designs with maximum efficiency.

Manufacturing
HYFLO manufactures complete hydraulic systems (basic to advanced), powerpacks, manifold blocks and pneumatic cylinders. We have the capability to manufacture the largest manifolds in the country and our CNC machines are ideal for high volume work . Small and large powerpacks can be manufactured to classification society rules. Pneumatic cylinders are manufactured locally under license from SMC Japan.

Installation & Commissioning

Hydraulic and pneumatic pipe-work is installed by our experienced team of fitters and technicians. Our leak free, non-welded, piping system is fast and easy to erect, thus ensures a cost-effective installation. Due to the cleanliness of this piping system (no welding), flushing times are significantly reduced. We have the ability to check oil cleanliness on-site to ensure international standards are met. We also have data acquisition systems for pressure, flow and temperature which allows us to troubleshoot systems efficiently.

Distribution
HYFLO branches are strategically positioned countrywide. They stock over 16 000 hydraulic, pneumatic, hose and fitting components sourced from reputable international manufacturers. These components are distributed by our team of skilled sales representatives to a diverse range of industries.

Repairs & Service

Sophisticated test benches warrant that all repairs to pumps, motors, valves and ancillary equipment have been carried out to the original manufacturers specifications. All replacement components are sourced from the original manufacturer, ensuring that repairs leaving our workshops conform to factory specifications. Our service technicians assist customers with troubleshooting and faultfinding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems using our extensive range of test equipment.

The HYFLO stores team is regarded as a critical part of our supply chain, thus ensuring the highest level of customer service. HYFLO is renowned for carrying one of the largest inventories in the fluid power industry, in terms of quantities and variety.

Manifold Manufacturing Centre

HYFLO is able to mass produce hydraulic manifolds through our ongoing investment in equipment and material. Our latest acquisition of a Mazak CNC machining centre has significantly increased our production capability. A tool profile measuring computer checks whether the tool is worn or chipped. Manifold block dimensions are checked extensively. Functional testing is carried out, if requested by the customer.
