So Whats the Problem

Do we have the level of law enforcement that we want? Need? Why wont law enforcement engage more?

Fact:
Most cops didnt get into law enforcement

to make the world a better place for pedestrians and bicyclists. bicycle-specific training. experts.

The police receive little if any pedestrian or The police are not engineering or education Cops dont enforce laws they dont

know and that they cant defend.

Getting Law Enforcement to Engage

Fortunately, cops already know how to be Cops & They want to help people They just need to learn more about pedestrian & bicycle safety

Training is Key!
A single training effort doesnt seem to be enough to engage law enforcement Instead, a multi-faceted continuum of training, implemented over time, seems to be more effective.
