We are seeking an Operations Manager to assist the Director in liaising activities between Maison and 23 Carat Head Office team and www.maison-boutique.com. The job requirements of the Operations Manager is to ensure profits by overseeing business aspects like customer service, sales, marketing and liaising between all teams. You will need to analyze financial data, sales and customer service reports as well as overseeing managers. Other responsibilities include working on the sales floor with your team; run training seminars, hire and fire employees, stock merchandise, vendor management and finding new ways to improve store functioning, sales while building a strong online and marketing team. Retail Operations Managers usually have rotating schedules, and expect to be on your feet! Responsibilities:

Overseeing the recruitment of new sales and retail staff. Responsible for training and induction programmes for new staff members. Day to day running and operating of stores. Ensuring a consistently high standard of presentation in-store and online are maintained. Working closely with visual merchandisers. Maintaining accurate records of all pricing, sales, and activity reports. Controlling shrinkage, wages, write-off, cash control and store expenditure. Marketing Maison by organizing novel in-store events and special promotional activities online. Ensuring online and in-store activities are synchronized i.e. new stock arrival, online newsletters, blogs and store windows Organizing nation-wide trunk shows, ensuring relevant marketing activity is conducted towards targeted customers in each city Liaising with suppliers, customs, merchandiser and accounts team to ensure shipments are received and payments are made on time

Essential skills: A good knowledge of national and international brands Advanced MS office skills, particularly Power point, Excel and Word Photoshop CS4 or any Creative Suite Articulate with excellent writing skills Discreet, professional and well spoken, with good communication skills Exceptionally organised and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative.
