Congratulations to the Fifth Grade Sunday School class for winning the coveted High Attendance Trophy in Sunday

School. They had 114% of their enrollment present. Prior to last Sunday, this group of young people went visiting for their class and inviting their friends to join with them. What a great example they are to all of us. Way to go, fifth grade! Special recognition also goes to the Mary and Martha Sunday School class that had 104% of their enrollment present. With little effort we had 488 in Sunday School and almost 550 in worship. Think of what we could do if all of us invited our friends, neighbors and relatives to Sunday School and Worship at First Baptist Church. God would be glorified and His church would grow. I look forward to seeing you every week in Sunday School and Worship.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED

Smiling faces are needed after the 11:00 service today. Jerry Pollock will be on the Clay Street sanctuary steps following the service. He will be videotaping all the smiles of FBC folks as they greet Brother Paul at the door. Just be natural and dont look at the video camera. Smiling, personable folks are needed by our AV Ministry. We are looking for a variety of joyful faces to be featured on our pre-service welcome video segment. It is the same segment you saw this morning which featured Richard Dykes. It only takes a few short minutes to record and the script is already written for you. Call the office or Jerry if you can help.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU!!! We had a great turn out at the 5th quarter on last Friday. We were overwhelmed with the love and the support of the church. We ended up with over 400 hotdogs and 400 buns. We also were covered up with chips, dip, and desserts. How amazing it is to have a church family that comes together in the name of MINISTRY! We actually had left overs and we gave them to the Friendship House to serve during the week. You not only blessed us but you also blessed another ministry with your generosity. We ended up having almost two hundred students. It was an amazing time of worship and fellowship. Keep praying that God will continue to work through the remainder of the 5th quarters. We are continuing to plan for several fall trips and for our winter trip. Please be reminded to ask your students to keep you informed as well as looking in the Builder for upcoming events. FELLOWSHIP CLUB MEETING

The Fellowship Clubs September meeting was a big success. Corporal Ryan Boyett, of Bainbridge Public Safety was our guest speaker. His discussion of safety and security needs of seniors was very informative. He also took questions from each of us. Meet us on Monday, October 1st for our next great meeting. Art
