Water appears to be an Ideal fuel


It is universally abundantly available It is very economical It is renewable, can be used over and over again Ease of storage & transportation It is non toxic both in short and long term It is safe to handle It is environmentally friendly It deal with problems of demand growth, energy security, supply challenges, climate change etc. Well isn't it too good to be true!

But water is not a fuel


Water is a stable compound which is in oxidized state. In other words, water is an ash when hydrogen is burned. When wood or coal is burned (i.e. oxidized), result is ash. Water is a spent fuel which comes out from the exhaust of your car (IC Engine), in winters you can note that in your own vehicle.

Then what is HHO/Oxyhydrogen


Water is split into hydrogen and oxygen through electrolysis via HHO/water kit installed in car. This results in HHO or oxyhydrogen which is gaseous having 2:1 molar ratio of H2 and O2, respectively.

HHO kit for vechicle consists of following parts


Electrolyzer (Dry Cell) Water storage Jar or Electrolyte Storage Bubbler or Filter for liquid aerosols (optional) Dryer or Filter with cartridge/filter element (optional) PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) (Optional) Flash Arrestor (Optional) Connecting pipes Electrical Wires Fuse

The Water mixed with caustic soda from storage jar goes to Electrolyzer usually from gravitational head Hydrogen and Oxygen gasses are separated through electrolysis by using battery DC power HHO or Oxyhydrogen gases mixture is produced having 2:1::Hydrogen:Oxygen molar/volume ratio and 2:16 of mass ratio i.e. 1 kg of water has 110g of H2 The HHO gas produced is passed through water then through beads & filter element for the removal of any solid/liquid impurities HHO is then mixed with the Hydrocarbon based fuel and fed in to the IC engine

There are two types of claims


Run the car solely on water by splitting water into Oxyhydrogen/HHO gas Increasing the vehicle fuel combustion efficiency by burning un-burnt hydrocarbon in doing so increasing the gas mileage of the vehicle by 20%-100%

IC Engine is a heat engine. In an HHO car, water is used as source of heat and as a coolant???

The water fuel/HHO vehicle claims violates following known scientific and physical laws: Law of conservation of energy First law of Thermodynamics Second law of Thermodynamics Law of conservation of mass

In water fueled car kit system, the chemical energy of fuel is first converted into heat (combustion) and then mechanical energy (Heat Engine), then to electrical energy (AC current by Alternator), then to direct current (DC Battery) and then the DC electrical energy is converted back to chemical energy through electrolysis (HHO Kit), which is fed in the engine to be converted back to heat and then mechanical energy. In all these steps, we returned back from mechanical/chemical energy input to mechanical/chemical energy output, even if we take efficiency to be 100% of every step we get same units which were given as input as energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Let us take example of car giving mileage of 18 km per liter, If this car runs for an hour with a speed of 90 km/hr then it has consumed 5 liter of petrol. 1 liter of petrol has 35 MJ implies 5 liter has 175 MJ 1 kg of Hydrogen has 123 MJ implies 175 MJ has 1.42 kg

Question! What capacity of Alternator/Generator is required to produce 1.42 kg of Hydrogen?

1 kWh has 3.6 MJ of energy implies 175 MJ has 48.6 kWh Hence, you need 48.6 kW output power to run car completely on Hydrogen produced through electrolysis. But the state of the art electrolysis cell efficiency is about 60%. Hence, you need 81 kW or 100 kva power output.

The calculation of amount of water required for running car on water or improving efficiency is often very wrong Water is H2O, with atomic mass of Hydrogen = 1 and Oxygen = 16, so 1 mole of water has 18 grams out of which 16 gram is Oxygen and 2 grams is Hydrogen Electrolysis of normal water produce about 111 grams of Hydrogen it implies you need 9 liters of water to get 1 kg of hydrogen which is equivalent to 3.5 liters of petrol A person claimed that his kit gives 50% increase in mileage by using 1 liter of water in 5000 km? Another person claim he run a car 200 km using 1 liter of water? Can a car gives 200 km mileage with 111 grams of H2

It is in no way possible, either by mechanical, thermal, chemical, or other devices, to obtain perpetual motion It is impossible to construct an engine which will work in a cycle and produce continuous work, or kinetic energy, from nothing Car running purely on water clearly violates first Law of thermodynamics as there is net gain of energy in the HHO system (i.e. output > input) according to the claims of HHO kit inventors.

According to second law, there will be net loss of energy when chemical energy of petrol is converted to chemical energy of HHO It is impossible to convert heat energy to any other form of energy with 100% efficiency Second law of thermodynamics also gives the direction of flow of heat and explains entropy

It may be noted that BMW 7 Hydrogen vehicle use same amount of energy whether it runs on petrol or hydrogen Fuel combustion efficiency in EFI vehicle typically exceeds 97%, rest is burned in catalytic converter if provided in the vehicle Maximum limit of auto-engine thermodynamic efficiency is 37%, for rockets it is 70% due to higher temperature and pressure Hydrogen burns 10 times faster than Petrol, so can it improve combustion efficiency? Analogy is that If we pour petrol on the logs of wood it will burn quickly But how much Hydrogen we need to have this effect?

By 2002, extensive research and testing validated that sweet spot for Hythane engines at 5-7% H2 by energy and 20% by volume Lets assume adding 5% hydrogen by energy does increase our fuel combustion efficiency thereby increasing mileage of the vehicle, Now question is can we produce 5% hydrogen by HHO kits or not We calculated 81kw generator for completely running car on water 5% of is 4 kw Taking battery efficiency 90% the car has to produce power of 7.16 kw (9.5 HP) for alternator as it has maximum efficiency of 62%

Can a car alternator produce 7.15 kw?


Power = Voltage Current -> P = V.I 7150 watts = 13.8 volts I -> I = 518 Amps Toyota Corolla alternator only produces 60 Amps

Hence, we cannot produce even 5% of Hydrogen through on board hydrogen kit How much Hydrogen HHO kit produce?
If HHO kits takes even 15 Amps at 12 volt from battery with 60% electrolysis efficiency it can only produces 3 grams of hydrogen which has hardly any affect on the engine

Lab results shows that HHO has no effect on exhaust emissions, if the MAP TPS and Oxygen sensors are remapped the engine is forced to run lean it adversely effect the engine parts and exhaust emissions increase The test was conducted on a 1300 cc vehicle runing with and without HHO which showed that the installation of HHO kit shows no beneficial effect and the engine horse power also remain the same when run on Dynamo.

More than 95% of Hydrogen produced in the world is from Methane cracking, rest is produced through many other methods including electrolysis In water kit HHO system or in any other electrolysis system the cost of hydrogen is directly proportional to the cost of electricity. Have you ever thought of running electric appliances of your home from your car engine in the time of load shedding? Why? Because it is very expensive! The electricity produced by car is about Rs. 70 per kwh and this will only produce 15.8 grams of Hydrogen i.e. 1 kg of Hydrogen will cost more than Rs. 4400/-

HHO/Water kit for vehicle are total fraud and scam. There was reward of 1 million US $ by www.randi.org and www.aardvark.co.nz for improving car mileage using HHO kit but till date no one responded to it because water kit is a fraud/scam. US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a ban on the use of such devices in the USA on December 7, 2011 The water can only be used as a fuel by fusion reaction of the hydrogen atoms i.e. same reaction occurring in the core of sun. Fusion reaction is impossible at present as no material can withstand such high temperature The scientists, engineers and top GoP officials of R&D, science and energy organizations who supported the idea of car running solely on water must be terminated

In cabinet committee meeting a renowned Government Minister said there is nothing that is impossible in Science and accused me of calling National Hero a Fraud
Reply is that there are millions of things that are impossible in physical and medical science i.e. Can you bring a dead person alive? Even at atomic level there are forbidden orbits for electrons i.e. energy gaps between valence and conduction bands

The water kit scam has clearly shown that there is lack of competent and qualified persons at the top of energy ministries. Therefore, top officials of Ministries related to energy sector must be scientists or engineers with 20 years relevant experience in the concerned sector

K.S.A) will keep producing Mujahideen in other words Terrorists USA used Tribal belt against Russia, History used these fighters since Alexander. Tribal people are born fighters with harsh & rugged lifestyle. Thus, solution is militarization of tribal belt of Pakistan and Afghanistan and preparing a united Muslim army and use it as instrument for Muslim World Energy Security. No wealth is yours if you cannot protect it.
