Overall. Gravis Marketing, a non-partisan research firm, and Capitol Correspondent conducted a telephone survey of 1,728 likely voters in the state of Florida on the afternoon and early evening of September 15th and 16th, 2012. The last question of the recent survey asked the respondent whether they thought George Zimmerman was guilty in the shooting death of Trevon Martin. On the whole, 33% think Zimmerman is guilty of murder, while 29% think he is not guilty; about 37% are unsure or dont know enough about the case (all results are rounded). By Race. The results are broken down by race in the chart to the right, where 33% of white voters think Zimmerman is innocent, while 28% think he is. The race group with the largest range is Blacks, where 58% indicated they think Zimmerman is guilty and only 24% think he is not guilty.
