To acquaint the students with importance of material and information flows in production and service operations 2. To gain knowledge about process and sub-process of management of material flow, design, operation, control of such flow system and their components 3. To know the various tools and techniques for the management of supply chain and its constituents 4. To understand adoption and application of SCM in practice Value Addition: At the end of this Module, the student will be able to appreciate the various entities involved, their role & responsibilities, in Supply chain. It will also help him to monitor the performance of a supply chain.
