GARBAGE & RECYCLING We take pride in the fact that Issaquah is cleaner on Monday morning than it was on Friday. Bring a trash can for inside your booth and an ashtray if you are a smoker. DO NOT take the Festivals Ohfishal garbage cans and do not throw your trash into the Ohfishal garbage cans. You must CARRY your trash to an Ohfishal dumpster. Ohfishal dumpsters are positioned in key locations to make this easy for you. We ask everyones cooperation in placing non-recyclable trash in Ohfishal dumpsters rather than the Ohfishal garbage cans. You will be able to recycle tin, PET plastic, aluminum, and glass. You may take these products to the appropriately labeled Ohfishal dumpster at the north end of the Foods of the World Food Court. All recyclable cardboard must be broken down and taken to the Ohfishal large dumpster for cardboard located just north of the huge trash dumpster behind Domino's Pizza labeled "Cardboard Only." If this dumpster is too far from your booth to be practical, please flatten your cardboard and stack it neatly beside any other Ohfishal Festival dumpster. On the streets, Ohfishal recycling containers for aluminum cans and plastic bottles are placed next to Ohfishal garbage cans. IMPORTANT! Failure to leave your booth space as clean as you found it could jeopardize your involvement in future Salmon Days, or subject you to a cleanup fee from the City. Food waste composting and recycling programs are a priority at the festival. You must use compostable service products. BOOTH AWARDS Awards will be presented for the Best Entre, Snack Food, and the Best Dessert. Judges will be circulating from 10AM until approximately noon on Saturday. Food will be judged on taste and presentation. Please give them a sample of your fare if you would like to be judged. If you do not want to be judged, please email lwalker@salmondays.org or call by Wed., Sept. 26th.

FOOD DEPOT SINK AREA Two four-compartment sinks are available for Food Vendor use. They are located at either end of the Food Depot. Soap, sponges, and bleach water are provided. Hot water is for cleanup and washing dishes. It is not to be used to fill cooking pots. PLEASE be considerate of other vendors by cleaning up the sinks after using them. Grease barrels will also be located in these sink areas. Please use them and let the Production Director or a Salmon Days Ohfishal know immediately if they are full. FOOD VENDOR RESTROOMS Portable restrooms ONLY for Food Vendors, with a warm water hand wash, are located near the four-compartment sinks at the north and south ends of the Foods of the World Food Court..

STANCHIONS All Food Vendors must bring eight (8) stanchions and two 50 lengths of rope to Salmon Days. If your customer lines extend into the street or in front of another booth and cause congestion, you must stanchion your line. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Please pay attention to your lines or this may jeopardize your application for future years.
