Firstly, I would like to say thanks to the almighty God who has bless us so we can attend in this english speech contest in a good condition. And I dont forget to express my appreciation to the master of ceremony who has given me a good chance to deliver my speech by the title TERORISM

Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers If we are talking about TERORISM today isnt strange in our mind. The definition we must ask What is the meaning of TERORISM? Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers Terorism is acts of violence commited by groups that view themselves as victimed by some notable historical wrong. Although these groups have no formal connection with government, but they have the financial and moral backing of symphatetic government. Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers Terrorism is never ever justified. Peaceful and democratic means must always be used. Even when democratic rights are denied, non-violent protest is the only moral action. And in the most extreme cases, in which subject populations are weak and vulnerable to reprisals from the attacked, it is especially important for groups not to resort to terror. Terrorism merely exacerbates a situation, and creates a cycle of violence and suffering. Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers Terrorism does not work temporarily but it works like a ring of evil. It antagonizes and angers the community that it targets. It polarizes opinion and makes it more difficult for moderates on both sides to prevail and compromise. A lasting and peaceful settlement can only be won with the freely given consent of both sides to a conflict or disagreement. The bad-feeling caused by the slaughter of hundreds, perhaps thousands, of innocent people by terrorists makes such consent desperately difficult to give, such as Bomb Bali I, Bomb Bali II, Bomb Church in Solo and Ambon, etc.

Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers All publicity is definitely not good publicity. Powerful images of suffering and death will permanently mark the terrorists cause, losing the battle in our entire lives is the great way all over in the world. Furthermore, groups that resort to terrorism play into the hands of their opponents; states suffering from terrorism can win powerful support from similarly affected nations.

Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers There are much substances points why terorism take a dicision to make a terror. We must look around the root causes of it : - Injusticable social and economic which spread away between a group and the other one. - Disease of poverty. - States repression to society or government about corruption. - Treatment to a particular group, it caused reprisal to resort to terror. - Hegemony super power states to sovereign state such as ; Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestina, and warmness deadline state which finished earning revolution Libya. Ladies and gentlemen Sisters and brothers As conclusion of my speech I would like to say that if we wish terorism is disappear, we must answer the root causes sistematicly and back up efforts to be improved in tolerance and togetherness among the members of a religius community. And also we should hand in hand to take proceedings, so that our beloved country can be peaceful, justice, welfare, and prosperous everafter. I think thats all of my speech.
