Press Release For Immediate Release 12th ASFAA Congress from 26 30 September 2012, Delhi -86 Delegates from 29 Countries to participate in the first ever Congress in India- Will promote International Cultural Exchange through Sports for all22 September 2012, New Delhi :The All India Association Of Sports For All [(AISFAA) Association, Registered in 2001 under the Societies Act XXI 1860] is organizing the 12th ASFAA Congress at New Delhi, India. The Asiana Sport for All ( ASFAA ) has more than 76 members in more than 46 Countries and is an acknowledged regional body of TAFISA (The Association for International Sport for all) which has 129 members in more than 120 Countries around the world . The theme for the 12th ASFAA Congress is Sports For All : Health, Education And Culture In Contemporary world and underlines the emphasis to encourage Indian communities to actively participate thereby creating a better quality of life and well being. It will bring Global Cultures together and will not be limited to the firmly established games and sports. Traditional games held since ancient era to epic age, imperial to modern age will be discussed and deliberated with a view to bring about a higher degree of consciousness for rhythmic activities to keep traditional games alive. Research and development ( R&D)in global sports for all and physical activities space will be the other highlight for the congress. Honorable Sports Minister, Government of India, Shri Ajay Makan will inaugurate the 12th ASFAA Congress at Amity university on 27th September 2012 at 10.00 AM.
