2012 Mean SAT Scores for Graduating Seniors

with Score Comparisons to 2011 Results
*Scores are not reported for districts with fewer than five students testing.
Prior to 2011, The College Board provided the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) with the most recent scores available for graduating seniors through the March SAT administration of
their graduating year. In 2011, The College Board implemented a change in parameters and began providing results from SAT administrations through June of the graduating year. Any SAT results
published by the SCDE prior to September 16, 2011, do not reflect this adjustment.
** Composite scores are calculated using the actual (before rounding) mean scores for all tests.
***"# in Class" = actively enrolled 12th grade students in SC Public Schools as of 135th day of school year 2012.
