New Leadership, New Direction, One Texas

Dear Friends, Last Thursday, Representative Eddie Rodriguez and Austin Councilman Mike Martinez generously hosted a fundraising kickoff event for One Texas at La Condesa Restaurant in Austin. We were also lucky to be joined by Representative Armando Walle. It was incredible to meet so many people from Central Texas ready to give their support and ideas (and yes, some of their money) to help us We also owe a huge elect new Latino leaders that will make tough Thank You to choices and hard decisions for the future of Representative Texas. Richard Pea Raymond who Our event couldn't have been successful without dedicated people like Dan Bullock, contributed $1,000 Rich Wallen and Veronica Vasquez there to to sponsor our event! support us. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Also, I'd like to say a special "thank you" to Representative Rodriguez and Councilman Martinez for hosting! And in case you missed it, we wrote last week to announce that Representative Ana Hernandez Luna has generously donated an additional $10,000 to One Texas, bringing her total contribution this year to $25,000! We set out to match that $10,000 and we've already raised about $5,000. We're nearly half way there! Can you help by giving $10, $25, $50 or even $100 so we can reach our goal?

We're also fortunate to have the support of Chris Turner, a former legislator and the Democratic nominee for House District 101, a newly created district in Arlington and Grand Prairie. Turner lacks Republican opposition and will be a great representative of North Texans in District 101. Chris has also contributed $1,000 to One Texas!
