    Status:InternshipPositionsMinimumFallQuarter,tocontinueintoWinter/Springiffeasible Hours:1020hours/week(48credits),MondayFridayflexibleschedule,someeveningsandweekendsasneeded. Supervisors:Grants&MarketingCoordinator.

    PositionDescription:
    TheGrantsAssistantgainshandsonexperienceintheinnerworkingsofasmall,collaborative,communitymindednon profit.ThispositionservesasvitalsupportfortheGrants&MarketingCoordinator,whohandlesallfoundationand governmentcontractrelationships.TheGrantsAssistantwillworkincollaborationwiththecurrentGrants&Marketing Internwithsomeoverlapofresponsibilitiesandcrosstraining.Youwillreceiveenhancedtraininginresearchingand prospectinggrantfunding,proposaldecisionmakingstrategies,andpreparingandsubmittingLettersofInquiryandFull Proposals.Thispositionrequiresflexibility,ahighattentiontodetail,selfdirection,andcreativeproblemsolving.The GrantsAssistantwillalsobeaGRuBambassador;workingwithyouth,volunteers,andGRuBstaffduringacrucial fundraisingefforts.TheGrantsAssistantisaparttime,supportstaffpositionbeingofferedasanunpaidand/orfor credit(independentcontract)internship.

    Supportwithgrantresearch,reporting,andapplications OccasionallyrepresentingGRuBbytablingand/orspeakingateventshostedbyotherorganizationsinthe community Databaseentry&reports Filing Copy/collation/mailingsupport ActiveparticipationinGRuBsCollaborativeCommunicationculture MusthavecompletedthesummergrantwritingcourseatTESC(orequivalent) Strongwritingskills Strongcommunicationskills Excellentworkethic(timeliness,followthrough,organization,etc.) AcoverletterandresumebyemailonlyinWORDorPDFformatwithtwocurrentreferencesto anna@goodgrub.org YouravailabilityfromOctoberthroughDecember(commitmentstoschool,work,etc.) Whetherornotyoureinterestedincontinuingthroughthefullyear(withavailability)
