Joyce Promotes Word Faith Heresy: Jesus Went to Hell

Joyce Meyer, like Kenneth Copeland and other Word Faith teachers, says that Jesus Christ went to hell. "Whatever it took to get God's people back, free again, is what they would do. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and went to hell in our place." (Whatever it took means that Jesus had to go to hell, suffer and be tormented by demons in our place.) She explains Christs atonement: During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin. He paid the price there ... no plan was too extreme ... Dalam hal Kesehatan & Kekayaan Meyer katakan: Baru-baru ini Tuhan menyatakan kepada saya bahwa kita dapat memberkati atau mengutuki benih financial yg kita tabur. Kita dapat berkata secara positive mengenai masa depan financial kita, atau kita dapat berkata secara negative seperti,.. aduh, aku tak mampu.selalu ada saja sesuatu yg terjadi yg menghabiskan uangku. Seharusnya kita mengairi persembahan kita dengan Firman NYA dan nantikan tuaian yg besar.

Bahaya Ajaran Meyer ! Joyce Meyer mengajarkan pada kita bahwa Yesus tidak menebus dosa dosa kita dengan penyaliban namun Yesus pergi ke neraka dan membuat penebusan di sana. Berikut adalah kutipan dari booklet Joyce Meyer tahun 1991 dalam Being Born Again yang telah direvisi pada tahun 1996 :

"During that time He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin...He paid the price there.no plan was too extreme...Jesus paid on the cross and in hell.God rose up from His throne and said to demon powers tormenting the sinless Son of God, Let Him go. Pada edisi 1996 dari "The Most Important Decision You Will Ever Make", Joyce Meyer menyebutkan hal yang sama namun dengan kata kata yang berbeda

"Believe that Jesus did what the Bible says. Believe He is indeed the Son of God, born of a virgin. He took man's sin on the cross. He did not stay dead. He was in the grave three days. During that time, He entered hell, where you and I deserved to go (legally) because of our sin." (Page 41, 1996-Edition).

(Page 41, 1996-Edition) Whatever it took berarti Yesus telah pergi ke neraka, menderita, dan disiksa oleh setan. "When Jesus hung on the cross, He took our sin upon Himself. God cannot stay in the presence of sin. As Jesus took our sin, He was separated from the presence of the Father...Jesus was taking your sins and those of everyone else upon Him as He felt this absence of His Father's presence. He said, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" [Matt. 27:46, author's paraphrase] Jesus knew it would happen, but the horror of separation from the bright presence of the Father was worse than He could of imagined, and it caused Him to cry out...and His spirit went to hell because that is where we deserved to go." He became your substitute and took all the punishment you deserve. He bore all your sins. He paid the dept you owe...Jesus went to hell for you. He died for you. He paid for your sins." Berikut adalah pengajaran Joyce Meyer supaya kita dapat diselamatkan dan lahir baru : 1. "Believe...what the Bible says." 2. ketika Yesus berada di atas salib, Ia tidak mati melainkan pergi ke neraka 3.Yesus berada di dalam neraka karena di situlah seharusnya kita berada 4.Tuhan akan melakukan apa saja untuk membebasskan orang orangnya 5.Tidak ada harapan seseorag pergi ke Surga kecuali ia percaya akan kebenaran ini, yang artinya apa dilakukan Yesus untuk melakukan penebusan dosa 6.Seseorang harus percaya dalam hatinya bahwa Yesus disalibkan, mati secara spiritual, terpisah dari Bapa di surga, disiksa oleh setan di neraka, Yesus adalah pria pertama yang lahir baru.
