First, please confirm in writing that this is just preliminary information to see if ICE has any interest in speaking to us, and that the submission of this document does not in anyway bind the Town to anything. Next, a few minor comments: On page three the word Town on the Second to last paragraph needs to be capitalized. There is a space missing before the word Detainees on page 8 in the second to last paragraph. Finally, I think CCA should expand page 12 dealing with the facility location. No where does it state that this facility would be directly adjacent to a maximum security state woman's prison. No where does it state that it is directly accessible via an arterial roadway, Sheridan Street, and a major highway US 27. To elaborate on this, it does not state anywhere that the facility can be accessed without impacting a single local roadway. Further it does not state that it is located directly off of US 27 which connects directly to 595, which is the access point to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport and a direct route to WPB Airport. Also US 27 connects directly to Le June Road, which connects to Miami International Airport.
