2. Eligibility
Program Master's Degrees Master's & Doctoral Degrees integrated Nationality - International students whose parents are both foreigners - Overseas Koreans or international students who have completed courses equivalent to elementary, secondary, and college education in Korea Educational Qualification -Those who have, or are expected to complete, a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent as stipulated by regulations. -Those who have, or are expected to complete, a Master's degree or its equivalent as stipulated by regulations. - Applicants who have a Master's degree in a special or different field should receive a recommendation from the head professor of the department for which they are applying.
Ph.D.
Applicants with dual citizenship or without nationality will not be recognized as international students. Korean citizens who hold dual citizenship will be considered as "Applicants of Korean Origin." No certificate for language skills are required.

5. Scholarships

Scholarships are granted for four semesters for Master's or Doctoral programs and eight semesters for the Consolidated Master's and Doctoral programs. B. Global Scholarships 1) Eligibility: Up to 10% of new graduate students 2) Application: By April 29, 2011 via e-mail (gradia@jnu.ac.kr) 3) Required Documents: Scholarship application form, Letter of Recommendation for Global Scholarship written by a future academic advisor, and eligibility verification documents 4) Benefits: Exemption from fees and tuition (entrance fees, tuition, school support fees) within four-semester time limit for degree completion for Master's or Doctoral programs 5) Minimum Qualifications: Instructors or researchers in colleges or its equivalent research institute. C. Research Scholarships 1) Qualifications: a) Applicants who are recommended as research assistants by their academic advisors b) Applicants who pass the research scholarship screening procedures. 2) How to Apply: Via e-mail (exchangeia2@jnu.ac.kr) by April 29, 2011 3) Benefits: Full scholarship in the first semester plus the financial support by their academic advisors D. S-TOPIK (Korean Language Proficiency Test) Scholarships 1) How to Apply: Via e-mail (gradia@jnu.ac.kr) by June 10 and submit the S-TOPIK Certificate (Original copy) by August 10 to the Office of International Affairs. 2) Benefits
S-TOPIK Level 6: Full Scholarship in the first semester) and Tuition exemption from the second semester S-TOPIK Level 5: Half Scholarship (School Support Fees) in the first semester
* Students who get level 6 on S-TOPIK at CNU are exempted from tuition from the next semester.
E. Support for New Students 1) Supports self-catering dormitory fees (660,000 KRW/ 581 US$) for new students in the first semester 2) Supports 70% of medical insurance cost in the first semester F. Recipients of home country governmental scholarship are given a partial tuition waiver.
6. Application Fee: The fee of 60,000 KRW will be included in your first semester tuition bill. 7. Announcement of Successful Applicants: At 4 p.m., June 21, on http://jnu.ac.kr
