Heterocyclic compounds having 2/3 and 4 hetero atoms at symmetric or asymmetric positions have already been studied because of their interesting medicinal properties. It is also well established that various derivatives of Pyrazols, Pyridines, Pyrimidines & their fused analogues exihibit broad spectrum of pharmacological properties. In view of these facts. We proposed to synthesize some novel biologically important hetero cyclic compounds as described under.
OBJECTIVES:
To
synthesize
pharmacologically
active
compounds
possessing
heterocyclic moieties like Pyrazolinones, Pyrazolo-pyrimidines and Pyrazols their analogues. To characterize these products for structure elucidation by several analytical techniques like IR, NMR and Mass spectral studies etc. To screen these products for biological activities.
REVIEW OF LITERATURE:
Literature survey for this Ph.D. program will be carried out from various Organic Chemistry Journals, Heterocyclic Chemistry Journals, Medicinal Chemistry Journals, Chemical Abstracts, Reference Books and also by using of E-Source etc.
METHODOLOGY: Below proposed molecules will be synthesized by using different reactions and reagents.
CHARACTERIZATION: Synthesized Compounds will be characterized after purification by the following techniques:
H1-NMR,C13 -NMR
BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY SCREENING (PROPOSED): Synthesized compounds will be screened for the following biological activities:
N HO
CHR1R2 N
R N O
