CLEAR GEAR LUBRICANT

Clear Gear Lubricant, commonly know as Bel-Ray ClearGear Lubricant, is a high viscosity, full synthetic fluid gear lubricant specifically formulated to provide superior lubrication of Type 2 open gear systems used in mills, kilns, driers and similar equipment. It is formulated to operate in the full fluid film or hydrodynamic mode of lubrication and is especially suited for immersion type lubrication of cement kilns and driers. Clear Gear Lubricant is available in four grades; Light, Medium, Heavy, and Extra Heavy. Clear Gear Lubricant Light, Medium and Heavy are approved by Metso Minerals for intermittent spray lubrication of open gears. It exceeds ANSI/AGMA 9005-E02 Specification Annex D for minimum viscosity recommendations for open gearing - intermittent lubricant application.

Applications
Mills, kilns, driers and other Type 2 open gear systems

Features and Benefits

Exceeds ANSI/AGMA 9005-E02 Annex D viscosity suggestions for open gearing intermittent spray application Completely fluid Completely clear Hydrodynamic or full fluid film lubrication becomes the primary mode of lubrication maximizing gear tooth protection. Easily drains from the open gear shroud. Will not accumulate or harden in tooth roots. Ensures easy gear tooth inspections - both dynamic and static. Gives the impression of a clean, well-maintained mill area. Reduces energy consumption and reduces operating temperature. A product for every temperature from -15C (+5F) to +50C (+122F).

Friction modified Four viscosity grades

General Description
Clear Gear Lubricant is a clear open gear lubricant based on synthetic hydrocarbon technology. The product utilizes a proprietary gear lubricant additive package for maximum Extreme Pressure and anti-wear performance in conjunction with friction modifiers and superior rust and corrosion protection. Clear Gear Lubricant is suitable for spray and immersion application and it is completely fluid for superior drainage and waste collection.
