Dear Sir, 1. 2. I Col Ajey Sethi, am a serving Army Officer presently posted under OP RHINO - Counter Terrorist ops in the state of Assam. My mother a 76 yrs old senior citizen, is a widow and staying at the following address :Mrs Kanta Sethi B 3 B , 32 A, Janakpuri, New Delhi, 110058. My mother is a patient of vericose veins because of which she has restricted mobility as per the doctors advice to avoid hemorrhage. In her house mentioned in Para 2 above, there are two entry/exit gates since possession of the flat (more than 20 years). One of the gates opens up in the neighboring B 3 A Block. There is therefore no logical and legal infirmity in my mother using the entrance / exit even though it opens up in a public place/state land in B 3 A block. As per your order my 76 yr old ill mother has done following wrong :(a) Indulged in illegal activity. (b) Has put herself in danger. (c) Has put public at large in danger. (d) Is causing nuisance. Your orders have aggrieved my mother a lot and have caused anguish to her and therefore to me as the facts given in your orders are incorrect. As per Govt of India letter No due to army personnel being away from home often at faraway places their dependant family members are harassed by local people with malafide intentions causing anxiety to soldiers in their places of posting. In this particular case the order is based on one sided allegation without proper investigation/verification of facts. All the 100 flats (1 to 100) including my mothers flat (No 32 A) have two entrance /exits are there. In any case I can assure you that in her 76 years of life she has been a law abiding person and is not causing danger, nuisance to anyone. The complainants by not letting her use the rear gate and sometimes quarreling and threatening her are causing nuisance to her. In case my mother has hemorrhage by this

unfair restriction to her using the gate, it will be grave injustice to a peace loving senior citizen.

Complainant also routinely harasses her by illegally closing drainage outlet just outside her flat without any authority which causes a lot of trouble as it results in water logging.
