The Blood Donation campaign is an annual activity of the Nightingale Society during the month of July which is also the Nutrition Month celebration. Students from all colleges and departments of Colegio de Dagupan and other schools are encouraged to donate their blood and inform them about the necessity of giving a part of their blood to help others. Last year, there was a total of 23 blood bags collected by the R1MC Staff specifically the National Voluntary Blood Services Program. This years record has beaten that of last years with a total blood bag count of 42. Because of early planning and information dissemination through posters and of course social networking sites, this increase has been made possible. The Nightingale Society wishes to continue this significant event for the coming Blood Donation month celebrations and seek to encourage more students to be a blood donor-hero. The
