Matthew 22:34-40 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
Most of what I have experienced of parenting is centered around instruction and correction. Interestingly this is the primary model we seem to experience of leadership in the church today. I am not implying that instruction and correction are not a part of parenthood or leadership. However when Parenthood is reduced purely to instruction and correction there are some profound missing pieces. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52 NASB And Jesus matured, growing up in both body and spirit, blessed by both God and people. Luke 2:52 MSG Wisdom and maturity are grown in the safe atmosphere of nurturing love. I am convinced that we need to continue to seek the Lord for a spirit of revelation about this issue of Spiritual Fathers and Mothers this is not an age related calling but rather an awakening to Redemption that is lived in a visible Redemptive context Family. It could be said that we have a generation of leaders who lead out of an orphaned spirit. The Orphaned Spirit? Orphaned Spirit - Is the place where people intentionally avoid close nurture for the safety of control and in turn use people as a means to get what they want. IE The car salesman who greats you as if they really want to know you . but...you know they don't. When a person looses the ability to trust in this loving nurtuing enviorment of family - something fundamentally goes astray in their heart they believe they are on their own orphans! In these terms? I see a generation of orphaned children in the Church. Many who have grown and now become leaders in the Church. Leaders who have defined Church as a tool to make life work rather than a family where one can be nurtured and can mature. A place where instruction is about information where correction is about conformity. Where heart formation and relationships have taken a back seat to organization form and function. What does Ginomai look like today? In a Word? LOVE!

The very hinge pin of the law and the prophets this document that was almost inexhaustable. Jesus declares that the very Bulls Eye of its revelation of God His works and will with man - is in one word Love! Interesting is that as a young Bible College student we 4 years of study into the scripture with almost a disdain towards the idea of being so vague as saying God is Love! Definition of Love in God Begins in God 1 John 4:7-9, John 17: 23/26 Gen 1 reality of the changeless character of the uncreated God before anything existed what extisted was basic virtue of His Character! I the Lord do not change. Demonstrated John 3:36, 1 John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8 Confusion of the day is that we have mixed up Love with being nice. Demonstration of God is Love. Tangible Costly extravagant! Transcendant and unbreakable Romans 8 Ability to Love in and from God. From God 1 John 4:19 Call is to love in the same way that God has loved us means God loves you with His heart soul mind and strength. John 15:9-10, vs 12-17 River of God..... John 7 Romans 5:5 Ephesians 3:16-21 Visible Love is indeed the clearest demonstration of the Glory (Kingdom) of God. Matt 19:16-26.....who can be saved..... John gives clarity to this issue...as the heart bulls eye issue... 1 John 3:13-24 4. John 13:34-35...by this will all men know... 1 John 3:1-3....the world does not recognize....vs 13-16 Now watch this....Love that abides ( John 15) is Love that is not only visible

But it will have the greatest discernment! I John 3:23-24 1 John 4:1-5 Vs 7-12 Is it perhaps not as complicated as we have believed? Paul stated it so clearly in 1 Cor 13 to have all the things that we as religious leaders would call success eloquence, stunning spiritual gifts, remarkable power, unmatched insight and wisdom, unbridled generousity but did not possess the epicenter of the Fathers heart Love, it means absolutely nothing. Maybe there is more to Love than we have ever known ( Eph 3:14-21). And the secret is simply this Christ in you! Yes, Christ in you bringing with Him the hope of all the glorious things to come. Confession: I am loved by God He has given me not only identity but ability to Love like Him. Love will be the clearest demonstration of the Kingdom in my life. Love will release the greatest discernment in my life for this hour!
