Computers I Sophomores Objective: Students will learn to organize data from multiple pages and to create charts using Excel. Process: Discuss procedures in class and complete Chapter 10 practice problem. Evaluation: Chapter 10 practice problem and observation. Accounting I Juniors Objective: Students will understand accounting practices and concepts to accurately prepare an income statement and balance sheet. Process: Discuss income statements and balances sheets in class. Complete WT 7-1 and 7-2 in class. Evaluation: Application Problems 7-1 and 7-2. Objective: Students understanding of accounting concepts and practices in preparing income statements and balance sheets will be informally assessed. Process: Review concepts and complete Mastery Problem 7-3. Evaluation: Mastery Problem 73. Computers II Juniors Objective: Students will edit weekend highlights and conduct interviews. Process: Interview and edit utilizing Premiere. Apply transitions between all edits. Evaluation: Participation Advanced Keyboarding 8th Grade Objective: Students will be able to create and format a flyer. Process: Discuss Chapter 1 Evaluation: Practice Flyer in Chapter due by the end of class Tuesday.

Objective: Students will create multi-page worksheets and insert graphs using Excel tools. Process: Complete assigned Excel exercises in class. Evaluation: Chapter 10 Excel Exercises 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Objective: Interview WWII vet regarding Honor Flight experience. Process: Interview at veterans home as a group. Evaluation: None

Objective: Students will be able to create and format a flyer. Process: Discuss Chapter 1 Evaluation: Practice Flyer in Chapter due by the end of class Tuesday.

Wednesday 10/17/12

Objective: Students will create multi-page worksheets and insert graphs using Excel tools. Process: Complete Chapter 10 Excel Exercises and Chapter 10 Worksheet. Evaluation: Chapter 10 Exercises 6, 7, 9, and 10. Chapter 10 Worksheet due at the start of class Tuesday.

Objective: Students understanding and ability to accurately prepare balance sheets and income statements will be formally assessed. Process: Written Test Evaluation: Chapter 7 Test

Objective: Students will review interview and edit as agreed. Process: Collaborate and edit. Evaluation: Participation

Objective: Students will apply previously learned MS Word concepts to prepare appealing flyers. Process: Prepare assigned flyers. Review chapter concepts that will help complete assignment by doing AYK as a class. Evaluation: EYK 1, MIR 1, p. WD 64-66.

Personal Finance Seniors Objective: Students will develop well-written letters of application. Process: Discuss formatting requirements in class. Evaluation: Completed letter will be evaluated per rubric and checklist. Letter due by the start of class Wednesday. General Business Freshmen Objective: Students will understand the forms of ownership. Process: Discuss Section 5-2 give examples. Evaluation: Questions 1-4 on page 113. Prep Prep Computers I Juniors Objective: Students will learn to organize data from multiple pages and to create charts using Excel. Process: Discuss procedures in class and complete Chapter 10 practice problem. Evaluation: Chapter 10 practice problem and observation.

Objective: Students will understand the important principles in establishing an effective organization. Process: Review policies and discuss organizational charts. (Use school structure) Evaluation: Develop Business Language p. 121. Objective: Students will apply chapter concepts to simulated businesses. Process: In teams, students will build PP presentation of group business structures, per established instructions. Evaluation: Projects will be evaluated per class rubric at the end of the chapter.
