INTRODUCTION
Most Christians know they should spend time with getting closer to Father God and Jesus. They know they should pray and read the Bible, but do they really understand there is another person they should get to know? There is another person who you need to fellowship with daily. This friend is your Comforter, Helper, Guide and Friend. He is also the person who does the work for Father God and Jesus. He will not take the glory or cause attention to be drawn to Him. He will always point you towards the Father and Jesus. Do you want to know how to fellowship with this friend? If you do, then the next few pages of this book will lead you into a closer relationship with Him. In this book I will explain what and who the Holy Spirit is and how to walk and talk with Him daily. I will show you the purpose of His job on earth and how we are His hands and feet to do Gods will. It is my prayer you will be blessed by this book and increase in your walk with the Holy Spirit daily. As I show you why Christians should unite in intercessory prayer and the great things that can be accomplished through prayer, you will develop a greater desire to pray. C h ap t e r 1 A FOUNDA T I ON

Before I start teaching on how to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, I need to lay a little foundation for you. You must realize in order to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you must also have fellowship with the Father God and the Son. In order to have fellowship with the Father and the Son, you must have fellowship with the Holy Spirit. All this leads into having fellowship with other believers. In order to have fellowship with one another, you have to have something in common with that person. This is also true when you fellowship with Father God, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You must line yourself up with God in order to communicate in the common dominator with everyone. II Corint hians 13:14 T he grace of the Lord Jes us Chr ist, and the love of God, and the communion of th e Holy Ghost, be with y ou all. Amen. In the above Scripture, Paul was saying the grace or mercy of God should be with us. He was talking about the love of God, which is true love or Agape love of God. He was also saying the fellowship of the Holy Spirit should be abiding with you always.

The first area is having fellowship with the Father. The second person we need to fellowship with daily is the Son. The third area of fellowship is the Holy Ghost. The forth area of fellowship is to have fellowship with one another. In this book I am going to talk about having fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Before you can have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you must first get to know Him. You must know how to relate to Him and understand the duties God has

miss it. The Holy Ghost will paint a picture of the true meaning of the Word. The more we read it, the bigger the picture gets. This gives us more understanding of Gods Word. This is why it is important to meditate, read and pray daily. You need to walk in fellowship with the Holy Spirit every day. The decision to pray and walk with the Holy Spirit is up to you. You must make the decision yourself.

destroying, it is definitely not Gods will. We have the right to stop it. We have the right not to do what the devil tells us to do. We have a right not to do what our natural flesh tells us to do. Everything the body of Christ should be doing should glorify God. If you are in prayer, the building you are in should light up because of the glory of God residing in the place of prayer. It will light up if you are praying in other tongues, praying for people, praying for what God has for you to do, praying for what the pastor wants to do and praying for things in your own life. My challenge to you is to do it. What do you want? What do you desire to happen in your life? What road do you desire to walk down? Do you desire to walk down the road of your own desires or do you desire to walk in the Spirit and the things of God? Do you desire to pray in other tongues? You have to make the decision. You must pronounce the verdict. You are the jury and you make the verdict for your life. In this book I have presented the case. You must decide the verdict. You must decide to walk in the Spirit and pray in other tongues. In order to change things in your life and in other peoples lives, you must pray. In the world today there are still many carnal Christians, but you can go beyond carnality. You can go on to the things of the Spirit that will even amaze your mind. You will think, I thought I knew the Word of God, but I never saw this before. I never saw the Word of God in this light. Sometimes when we read the Word of God, we

When we are hurting, the Holy Spirit is there to comfort us. Before we can receive His comfort, we have to realize He is beside us. We need to realize He wants to utilize and move in our lives. Often people dont realize the Holy Spirit is a person. There has been some teaching from the pulpit which says the Holy Spirit is a part of the trinity. When this is taught, people think the Holy Spirit is part of the trinity and therefore He is a part of God. This conclusion means He doesnt have a personality or a body. The Holy Spirit is a spirit. He has a natural body, not a body of flesh and bone, but the body of a spirit. He has a shape like a man, but He is a spirit. You cannot see a spirit unless God opens your mind and eyes to the spiritual realm. However, He is still a spirit with a body in the spiritual realm. The Holy Spirit is right beside us to help guide and direct us in everything you do. We must reverence Him as we reverence God and Jesus. When we want to be led and directed by God, the Holy Spirit is there to show us the way. Sometimes people say they want to be lead and directed by the Spirit of God, but they do not reverence the third part of the God head. They say they want to know Jesus, but they do not accept the Holy Spirit moving to guide them closer to

Him. They dont want to reverence the anointing of the Holy Spirit. People dont understand what the anointing is, when it comes from the Holy Spirit. I am moved by the Holy Spirit, not by the anointing of Jesus Christ. The reason I know this is true is because the Holy Spirit will always lift up Jesus. The Holy Spirit will always lift up Father God. He will never lift Himself up. The Holy Spirit is a humble person. He is a gentleman. A gentleman will always lift up someone else. He will always place God in authority in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is like God because He is a spirit. God is a spirit. God is omnipresent and the Holy Spirit is omnipresent. God is omnipotent and the Holy Spirit is omnipotent. The Father God is a God of love. The Holy Spirit is a spirit of love. Everything God is, the Holy Spirit is.

takes everyone to pray things through. It takes the believers to unite in prayer. Even though you may be praying for your church and for things to come into existence, you need to pray for other men and women of God and for other people who you dont even know who are in the body of Christ. When I was praying the other night, I saw several Chinese women. I saw a Chinese man stab one of the women. I knew one of the women was not stabbed because I was in intercessory prayer for that person. I prayed through to the victory. I believe her life was saved because of my intercessory prayers. I stopped what was going to happen because I was obedient to the Holy Spirit in intercessory pray. I saved the life of a woman who was a Christian. Everyone has family, parents, brothers and sisters who we know have problems. We can pray for them in intercessory prayer and things will change in their lives. Each and every person is important to Jesus and the kingdom of God. Without you, He cant do the work on earth that must be done. He cant accomplish what He wants on this earth without human beings. He cant go beyond anything we allow to happen. We control our lives and other peoples lives. We cannot go past a persons will, but sometimes what people think is their will, is not their will. It is their human spirit putting ideas in their head and saying, This is your will to do this thing the way you want to do it. It is not their will because if it has anything to do with steeling, killing and destroying,

television in my home to watch the events on the news. I didnt even read the newspaper, but I knew the Holy Ghost would do what He said, if I did my part in prayer. The next day when everyone came to the prayer meeting, they were all excited. They had heard on the television and in the newspaper about the big cocaine bust in Florida. They could testify the power of the Holy Ghost working through intercessory prayer. You may wonder why the Holy Spirit would be interested in busting cocaine dealers. He is interested in our nation. We have a right to keep America clean from drugs and alcohol. We have the right to control what goes on in America and other countries. We are not controlling what goes on in America by our own power or strength. It is the Holy Spirit working in and through us in prayer. We cant be doing it because there are people who are not being stopped. Drugs are still at large. Prostitution is at large. Child abuse is at large. Children are still being molested at large. The reason things are still happening in America is because we are not praying. We are not stopping what is going on in the world because we dont take time for prayer. The world is bigger than your town or your state or even your country. The call on your life is bigger than just your church. Each person is called to fellowship and pray under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If Christians would unite, things would change in America today. Although you may be praying, it

Chapter 2

HOW TO FELLOWSHIP
How do you fellowship with another person? When you fellowship with a person, you partake of their life. You reveal secrets, desires, and very personal information to each other. You have confidence the person will listen and not do anything to harm you. Often you take their advice in a situation. This is also true when you fellowship with the Holy Spirit. As you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, you partake of the nature of the Holy Spirit. You have communication with the Holy Spirit. The more you communicate with Him, the more of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit you take on. This means you will also be taking on the characteristics of God and Jesus. There are four ways we can take on the characteristics of God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit. The first is through the spoken Word. When God speaks to you, it is a spoken word or Rhema Word. The Rhema Word is spoken from the throne room of God. The second way to take on the characteristics of God and Jesus is through the written Word of God. When you read the Bible, you need to take it for what it says. I will give you an illustration of how to receive the characteristic of God and Jesus through His written Word. When Jesus was walking on earth, there was a blind man called Bartimaeus who

heard the crowd talking. He wondered what was going on. and said, Who is this? The crowd answered, It is Jesus. Then Bartimaeus cried out, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. The disciples tried to make Bartimaeus be quite, but he cried out even louder. He said, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. Bartimaeus was acting on what he believed. He through off his blind mans coat. In those days the people who were blind wore coats to show everyone they could not see. Today we have sticks or guide dogs to let people know when a person is blind. Bartimaeus believed Jesus was the son of David and the son of God. He believed the power of God would flow through Him and he would receive his sight. The reason Bartimaeus had such beliefs in Jesus is because he had heard about other things Jesus had done around the area. Mark 10:46 - 52 46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David; have mercy on me. 48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace; but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.

Sometimes they get out of the presence of God before they stop praying. It is automatic for them to get off from prayer by starting to think about something totally different from where God is leading them. They end up leaving God behind again. When I get up from prayer, I walk and take time for God to minister to me. I think about things I was praying about. I think about the people I was praying about. God starts revealing things about the call of God on my life to me. He starts telling me about my family, children and other people. It is important for us to have communion with God. We need to know what He wants us to do to help and guide His people. God knows the names of places and people who need your help through prayer. You may have never met these people before or been to a certain country, but the Holy Spirit through prayer can take you there to get the victory for a certain person. Several years ago, while I was ministering in a church, there was a big cocaine drug bust in Florida. A big ship was ceased by the government loaded with cocaine. I had been praying, leading people in intercessory prayer, when all of a sudden I was caught up in the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit said, I want you to pray for the drug dealers, so they will get busted within twenty four hours from the time you start praying. I immediately went into intercessory prayer. Within twenty four hours after I started praying, the cocaine dealers were busted. I didnt have a

talking about prayer. If the people dont understand prayer, they can never understand the Holy Spirit. I cant go beyond what the people understand about the Holy Spirit, if they dont understand about intercessory prayer. When you pray and you start intercession. You will feel lost, when you start intercession. You are not lost. You are just praying for somebody who is lost. You may feel like God has taken you into the position of being backslidden, when you start praying. God is using you to pray for someone who has backslidden. Other times you may feel like God is taking you into intercession, when you start praying for somebody sick. Sometimes you will even take on the symptoms, but they will not stay attached to you. Once you have the victory in prayer, the symptoms will leave. There is a place in the Spirit the body of Christ has not touched in prayer yet. They ought to be touching it everyday. There is a place in the Spirit where He can show the things of the future to the body of Christ. The Holy Spirit wants to show you the things in your life, if you will allow Him too. Most Christians dont allow Him to show them their future because they dont have time, after they prayed, to listen for Him to talk to them. They get up instantly and say, I have to go. I dont have any more time to spend with You today. I have other thing that are more important. Christians get out of the presence of God so fast they dont know what He wants to show them. They instantly start thinking about other things.

49 And Jesu s stood sti ll, and commanded him to be called. And they called the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. The third way we can take on the characteristics of God and Jesus is when we hear the Word of God and apply it. It needs to become a part of us in our everyday life. By hearing the Word, we are partaking of the character of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The forth way we take on the characteristics of God and Jesus Christ is through prayer. There are about nine ways of praying. The key ones are the prayer of faith, the prayer of partition, the prayer of intercession and the prayer of commitment. These are the major ones, but the other ones are also important. The only prayer where we use the word if is the prayer of commitment. When we become part of the fellowship of the Father, Son and Holy

Spirit, we will develop a relationship with Them. We will start walking with God properly. We are going to have a commitment with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit constantly. We are going to commit ourselves everyday to Them.

days; but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia. In our society, we have everything instant. There is instant cereal, fast foods, instant coffee, etc. The shame is Christians want the same thing with God. They say, I read three Scriptures and that is enough for me today. After saying that, they slam the Bible closed. Then they say, I prayed for three minutes in tongues today. That is good enough. After all that, they forget about God and go about doing what they want to do for the day. With this type of attitude, it is no wander things are not being accomplished for God on earth today. God is not an instant God who can be just turned on for a second, micro waved, then put on a plate to serve society. It takes time to fellowship. We need to accomplish things for God by staying in prayer and fellowship. I was told by a man of God, that where ever I would go, I would end up preaching on prayer. Everywhere I go I do end up preaching on prayer. I cant help it because it just flows out of me. I pray. I preach. Then I preach on prayer. It is a necessary thing to do today because the body of Christ is not doing it. I always start ministering on the Holy Spirit, then I end up preaching and teaching about prayer. When I go to preach at a church on fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, I end up

prayed more than forty five minutes in one day. Most people will be able to pray more than forty five minutes a day, if they are willing to work it into their schedules. The more you pray, the more you are going to want to pray. The more you get closer to God, the more you will want to be with God. The more you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the more you partake of the nature inside of you which has never been touched before. Miracles are going to start flowing out of you because of prayer. Miracles are going to start flowing to you because of prayer. Miracles are going to flow as you pray. You will know what things need to be prayed for or what changes need to be made because of prayer. Sometimes we want an easy format to getting our prayers answered. There is no instant answer to prayer in the kingdom of God. Daniel prayed and the Bible says the first day he prayed it was answered. However it took twenty one days of standing in faith before the answer came. Daniel 10:12 and 13 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, they words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty

Chapter 3

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Have you ever wondered what are some of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit? The Bible says the love of God is set abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost. Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. It says the love of God is shed abroad in whose heart? It is your heart. It is my heart. It does not say it is Gods heart who is to receive it. Gods love is never ending and He is giving us His love by the Holy Ghost. Gods love does not stop. However, we can stop it from operating. You say, How do I keep Gods love operating in my life? You should never be out of the walk of love. It is offered to you through the Holy Ghost. Jude 20 and 21 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. The Bible says we need to keep ourselves operating in the love of God, which has been shed abroad in our hearts, by praying in tongues. Speaking in tongues is a characteristic of the Holy Spirit. It is also a characteristic of God. When we walk in that love, we also produce other things in our life. We produce joy, peace, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and goodness. All these things operates from the Holy Ghost as we develop in love. They flow through our spirit from the Holy Spirit because we are in communication with Him. We are fellowshipping with Him and the Word of God. You can know the mysteries of the Gospel through intercessory prayer. When you pray in other tongues, you can have the mysteries revealed unto you. Having the mysteries of the Gospel revealed to you is the same as a new revelation, understanding or enlightenment given to you by the Holy Ghost. It came to you as an illumination of the Holy Ghost ministering to you. I John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. An unction is also another way the Holy Ghost communicates to you. It is one of His main characteristics. The Bible says He has given us an

grow. God wants to bring more people into His kingdom, but it takes effort on your part. It takes time in prayer and fellowship. If you dont want your church to grow or if you dont want to do the will of the Father, dont pray. However, if you do, get on your hands and knees and start praying. Do you know the only reason we have teenage rebellion in Christian churches today? It is because we dont pray for the teenagers. We do not pray for them because we get lazy and tired. We say, I dont need to pray tonight. I am tired and there are so many other things I must do. I will pray for them later or even tomorrow. I am guilty of not praying sometimes. I have been traveling from church to church and come home and said, I dont need to pray. I worked ten hours today. I dont have time to read the Bible. I dont have time for Jesus. I am too tired. This is garbage. We have time to pray and serve our Lord. You may have to turn the television set off or the radio off. If you have time for a nap dinner, you have time to pray. Everybody can pray for forty-five minutes a day automatically, if they realized it. It is easy to do. When you first wake up in the morning, start praying before you get in the shower. When you are in your shower, pray the whole time you are showering. By the time you get out of the shower and dried, you have already prayed thirty minutes. If you drive to work, you can pray while you are driving. When you drive home from work, you have time to pray again. When you add all the time up, you will find out you have probably

Chapter 9

TAKE TIME TO PRAY

I was a leader of intercessory prayer in a church of about a thousand people. When I started teaching the people about intercessory prayer, many people united together to join in the intercessory prayer each week. However, as the weeks passed, the people began to drift away from the prayer meetings. As less and less people were praying the intercessory prayers, I noted the church also began to drop in church membership. The church of about a thousand people dropped down to less than seven hundred members and later to about four hundred people. Do you know why the church attendance dropped? It was because the people stopped being united in intercessory prayer. They stopped their fellowship with God and the Holy Spirit. God hadnt told me to lead them in intercessory prayer, but I was leading them the way God wanted them to go. The people in the church must want to see their church grow by a hundred, two hundred, three hundred, four hundred or even five hundred members. The only way this growth will happen is through fellowship with the Holy Spirit and prayer. Your pastor cant do all the praying for his congregation. It needs to be united prayer by all the members of the church so the church will 34

unction from the Holy One. This means you have been given an anointing from the Holy Spirit, which you can operate through you. The Holy Spirit can teach and reveal things through you, which you can only know by the unction of the Holy Spirit. When you have a Word of Knowledge operating in you by the Holy Spirit; you have to know what the Word of God is saying. You have to line yourself up with the Word of God. Sometimes the Word of Knowledge doesnt line up with the Word of God or the Word of Wisdom. The Word of Knowledge is talking about the present and the Word of Wisdom is talking about the future. Both gifts are operated by the Holy Spirit. They are both a manifestation of the character of the Holy Spirit, as His Spirit wills through you. The gifts of healing are the same thing. They operate through you as the Holy Spirit moves though your willingness to let Him flow. They will operate through anyone, if you will just yield. They will operate through everybody, if they will only allow the channels for the Holy Spirit to flow through them. The Holy Spirit will flow through us if we will be His hands, eyes and feet. When we walk in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He can do the work of God through us. There isnt any closer fellowship with God, then there is with the Holy Spirit. We need to stay in divine contact with Him constantly through fellowship. When you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, God

and Jesus have to be on the scene because there is no separation between Them. This is true because what the Holy Spirit has is always revealed by the Father and Jesus. The Holy Spirit will always give you something from the Word of God and by the authority of God.

There are not very many people who are willing to unite and pray in the Spirit.

hands, feet and mouth. He needs you and cant do it without you. He cant just do what the Father God wants done with only one person. The Bible says where two gather in His name and agree on anything, it shall be done. Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. This is also true in intercessory prayer. He gave us a contract with one another so we could labor with God in love. I am a bond servant to God because of love. I do and say things to people because Jesus loved me, when I was nothing. When I was on the streets, an alcoholic and a dope addict, He loved me. I dont care if you dont like what I say, but I do care that you do the work of God. I am not in the kingdom of God for a popularity contest. I am in the kingdom to stir people up to do the work of Jesus. I can not do it without you. I am only one man. I cant flow in the things of God twenty-four hours a day. I cant be on my hands and knees twenty-four hours a day, but I can try. I have prayed night and day and never gone anywhere. I didnt have time to go anywhere because I was busy fellowshipping and praying in the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost wants His people to pray.

Chapter 4

FREE BECAUSE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. You may wonder, how can I be set free from the law of sin and death? You can only be set free by the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit who raised Christ Jesus from the dead. When God said, That is enough, He sent the Holy Spirit down to loosen Jesus and bring Him back to the throne room of God. In the first chapter of Genesis in the Bible, who was hovering over the water when God divided the firmament between the waters? It wasnt God who was hovering over the water. God gave the command for the waters to be divided. He sent the Holy Spirit to do the work of dividing the waters. It was the Holy Spirit who set the difference between the day and night. It wasnt Jesus who did the work. Jesus was still in the throne room with the Father. The Holy Spirit is the actual working part of God. The Holy Spirit operates through man. God doesnt necessarily come down and do the work. He sends the Holy Spirit to do His work though 17

mankind. If you want to look at heaven like a cooperation in a business, the Father God is like the president of the business. In most businesses there is a president, vice president and a secretary. God is represents the president of the cooperation. Jesus is the vice president. The Holy Spirit is the secretary. The Holy Spirit does the leg work for God and Jesus. He is not a puppet, but a worker. He needs to be respected and honored, but we dont worship Him. We dont say, We worship you, Holy Spirit. We praise you, Holy Spirit. We dont say that because the Holy Spirit is standing right next to you and saying, Jesus, You take all the praise and worship. I cant take any of the praise and worship. The Holy Spirit cannot be worshipped because He always turns the worship over to the Father.

Chapter 8

BELIEVERS MUST UNITE

We as believers must unite in prayer. Right now in the body of Christ, there are only a hand full of believers uniting. We cant pray like anybody else prays. Even your pastor cant pray at the exact same time as another member in the church because of his schedule. Each person has to set up a schedule to pray as the Spirit of God tells them to set it up. If you do not get behind the Holy Spirit, the work through prayer will never be accomplished. When you have a scheduled time to pray in the Holy Spirit, you will get things accomplished in the church. You will not progress in the church until you start praying in intercessory prayer. You will not increase with new members in your church or grow spiritually without the Holy Spirit guiding and directing you in the church. When you are not fellowshipping and praying in the Holy Spirit, you are keeping Gods hand from blessing you. You are stopping Him from causing revival to come into the church and into your hearts. When you are not fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, people will start leaving the body of Christ. Without prayer, a pastor cant hold the church together. Even the pastors wife cant hold it together. The Holy Spirit needs you to pray and be His 31

I must be willing to drop to my knees and pray. I must be willing to pray as long as it takes or until the victory comes.

Chapter 5

WALK IN THE SPIRIT

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. I believe people want to walk in the realm of the Spirit. They want to walk in a beaten path, as it says in Galatians by walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the lust and desires of the flesh. They want to walk in a beaten path to the point that they become so familiar with the Holy Spirit, they will never leave that path. You will walk that path, if you have fellowship and stay close to the Holy Spirit. If you start to stray away, the Holy Spirit will draw you right back. You will know you are on the right path because of your relationship with Him. You know the personality of the Holy Spirit. You know the things of God and will not be moved by the things of the world. II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. When you were born again, you became a partaker of a brand new nature. You confessed

you were a new creature in Christ Jesus. However, we really didnt become a partaker of the brand new nature until we stared walking in and with the Holy Spirit. When we started walking in the Holy Spirit, we started walking in the liberty of the Spirit. When we walked in the liberty of the Spirit, we were free from the law. This freedom was not given to us for the occasion of the flesh so we can sin, but so we can walk, do, talk and be an example of Jesus Christ. God wanted His light to shine through us and into the world so people would be drawn to Him. When we walk in the Spirit, people are drawn to us and into the kingdom of God. We can be an illuminating light to draw people into developing a relationship with God. God will give us the preciseness and accuracy of words, so we will be able to say things which will pierce a persons heart. He will tell us things to say, so the hardness of their heart will be broken and they will crumble at the hand of the almighty God. By this action, they will be drawn into the kingdom of God. All believers will be able to do the work of God, if they will yield to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. However, it takes time and effort on your part because it takes your will to yield. You must be the one who will do the work for the Holy Spirit. I can show and tell you how, but you must put forth the effort. The Holy Spirit was sent by Jesus to come inside of us to comfort us. He was sent to the

I saw God use me to raise my daughter from the dead. She died five years ago and the power of God flowing through me was able to rise her back to life. I did not know in the natural realm my daughter had died. I knew it in the spiritual realm, but had not witnessed it in the natural realm. About a year ago my daughter came to my house and told me she had died about five years ago. She said she knew God had flowed through her to raise her from the dead. I would not have been able to pray for my daughter correctly, if I had not been about to pray in tongues and be guided in prayer by the Holy Spirit. I would not have been able to pray if I had not been in fellowship with the Holy Ghost and praying in other tongues. When I pray in tongues, my mind sometimes says, You are dumb. This funny language doesnt make any sense. What good is all this nonsense doing anyway? My flesh often says, I am tired. Can we stop now? What good are tongues doing anyhow? I am going to pray in tongues no matter what my flesh, mind, stomach, or job says. I have my being because of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God lives and abides within me because I have fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I can pray for the needs of a brother, sister or child because of walking in the fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It takes time to fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Chapter 7

WE NEED TO PRAY
We need the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. We need to move with the Holy Spirit and drop to our knees and say, Pardon me, I must go pray. I have to set this dinner aside or I have to set this television program aside. There is someone in need. Pardon me, I have other things that are more important. They are heavenly minded so these people will be more effective for the kingdom of God. I must pray now. We as the body of Christ have to walk in a unity. There are people who will get hurt, if you dont pray for them. There are people who get hurt because you will not get on your hands and knees and pray, when the Spirit of God tugs on your heart. The church buildings are not going to be big enough to hold everyone, if you will do what the Spirit of God wants you to do in prayer. When you follow the unctions of the Holy Spirit, you will be able to pray for people in other countries and in this nation. You will know how to pray for your pastor, your family and the people at your work place. The Holy Spirit showed me to how to pray for my daughter as she was young and for her future. When my daughter was nine years old, she had the height of a twelve year old. I was instructed to pray constantly for her for six straight years. I

He came to convict the people they needed a Savior. The only difference between Christians and non-Christians is they dont have Jesus Christ. The difference is not because we have the Holy Spirit or know the Word of God. The only thing Christians have is Jesus in their hearts. Sometimes Christians get puffed up because they feel superior to others because they have Jesus in their heart. They feel this makes them better than other people in the world. In the Old Testament, it says we have the opportunity to witness to the non-Christians, but when the judgment day comes, the blood of the innocent who have never heard the Gospel preached, will be on our shoulder because we didnt go to the highways and the byways to preach the Gospel to them. Luke 14:16 24 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many. 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden;, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it; I pray

thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them; I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out unto the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

When Jesus said to go out and gather people for His supper, many were invited, but few came. He was using a parable to explain a point He wanted the people to understand. He told the story of how a wealthy man had made a big feast and invited all the wealthy people of town to attend.. When his servant went out to invite them to the big feast, each person had an excuse. One just got married and another one had just bought some property and 22

There would never be a divorce in the body of Christ, if the married couple would always be in prayer. There would never be a separation in the body of Christ and the churches, if people stayed in prayer. You might not agree on everything, but things can be worked out if both people are praying and fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit. Nobody agrees on everything. Even my wife and I dont agree on everything. She puts me in my place and I put her in her place. However, we have a working agreement. She is my friend and I am her friend. She is my lover and wife, who had my children. I am her husband and provider. However, when it comes to the Spirit of God, we will both get on our hands and knees and pray. We wont get up until we have the total victory of what God says. It doesnt matter if we agree on everything. It doesnt matter if we have every doctrine down pat. Doctrines dont mean anything. Only love means something. Peoples lives mean something. When you reach around the world and stop the devil from destroying someones life, it is important. About a year ago, I got caught up in the Holy Spirit. I do not know what country I was looking at, but the scenery looked like I was somewhere in Africa. I saw a missionary who was going down a path. I saw an ambush waiting for him. He was a white man from America.. He would have been killed, but the Holy Spirit had me pray in tongues and his life was spared.

The other day I met a fellow brother in Christ and said, I know we have not met formally, but you have been on my heart lately. I feel like I really know you. Have I met you before? I had never seen or met him before, but in prayer I had. The Holy Spirit had flashed his face before my eyes. We have the right to fellowship with another in the Holy Ghost, without even being there. We have that right of communion with the Holy Spirit to fellowship with people overseas. Last night while I was praying, I fell under the Spirit of Prayer. I was caught up in the Spirit and in just a matter of seconds, I was in another country. I saw Chinese people who were hurting. I saw the hurts of their hearts. I was praying for the hearts of the people when God took me into the realm of the Spirit. There was a need that needed to be met clear across the world. I needed to pray for those Chinese people before I could be released to pray for fellow Christians around my area. The reason the Holy Spirit revealed this situation to me was because I stay in communication and fellowship with Him. We must start operating in prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We have brothers, sisters and family members who get in car accidents that would not happen if we had been in prayer and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Sometimes they even get sick, but if we are in tune with the Holy Spirit, they can recover. When we pray in tongues, we can stop the enemy. We can stop what he is trying to do.

They say, Well, I cant come to service tonight. I have other plans. Sometimes they will say, My wife and I want to go to a movie. We need to spend more time together or we have to take the children to their sports functions. You know it is important to spend time with your children. When the master of the feast heard all the excuses, he told his servant to go to the highways and byways and compel all the people he could find to come in the kingdom of God. It didnt matter if they were lame, blind or maimed. Everyone was invited to the feast. Even the prostitutes, drug addicts, down and outers, alcoholics, people in the slums, rich and the poor were all invited to come into the kingdom of God. Gods kingdom has not separation of rich or poor, black or white. God telling each Christian to go forth with the Holy Spirit. In order for Christians to go forth and preach the Gospel to all men, there has to be communication with the Holy Spirit. It is possible for a person to witness for Jesus, but be doing it in the flesh. When this happens, a person gets themselves in big trouble. If you are going to witness for Jesus on the streets or anywhere you go, you need to be in communication and have fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

Chapter 24

TONGUES
I Corinthians 14:13 - 15 13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret. 14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. 15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. When we pray in our own prayer closet in other tongues, we can interpret our own prayer language. Our prayers dont have to be in other tongues, but they can be. You have the right to understand the meaning of your tongues, if you are praying in them. It is important for you to understand what God is revealing to you through the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will not reveal the interpretation of the tongues. Sometimes He will. There will be times when your mind needs to understand what you are praying for. There maybe other times when you may not know who or what you are praying for, but you just pray it through until you feel the release from the Holy Spirit.

Most of the time that type of prayer is called intercessory prayer. When I am in intercessory prayer, I will often pray for two to three hours. Most of the time the Holy Spirit inside of me will illuminate my mind as to what I have been praying about. He may tell me I was praying about a persons life. I will see their face and I know there is danger. For the past seven years, the Holy Spirit has flashed the persons face before my eyes when there has been any trouble in that persons life. Sometimes the person may be someone who I have only come in contact with for only a short period of time. Sometimes it will be a person who I am going to come in contact with in the future. It doesnt matter. If anything happens to a person whom I have met, the Holy Ghost will bring their face into my remembrance. The Holy Ghost brings your face into remembrance because we are all part of the body of Christ. He said He would bring everything into remembrance of whatsoever He has said. Your name is written in the Book of the Life and your life is very important. I may not know your name when I am praying in other tongues, but I will know your face. Sometimes when I meet a person, I get shocked. I will say, I know you, dont I? The person looks very familiar. I know I have seen your face somewhere. I may have never met them before, but the Holy Spirit has flashed their face before my eyes, when I was praying in tongues in my prayer closet.
