Mobile Application For Deaf

INTRODUCTION Sign Language:Sign language is a movement language which expresses certain semantic information through series of hands and arms motion, facial expressions & head/body postures. It is the basic communication medium between the deaf people. A translator is usually needed when an ordinary person wants to communicate with a deaf one. Deaf people use sign language as their medium of communication. Sign language recognition is a multidisciplinary research area involving pattern recognition, computer vision, natural language processing and psychology. It is a comprehensive problem because of the complexity of the visual analysis of hand gestures and the highly structured nature of sign languages.

The document also defines and describes the operations, interfaces, performance, and quality assurance requirements of the same. It also puts light on the nonfunctional requirements such as the user interfaces, the design constraints that are to be considered when the system is to be designed, and other factors necessary to provide a complete and comprehensive description of the requirements for the software. The Software Requirements Specification (SRS) captures the complete software requirements for the system, or a portion of the system.
