Laboratorio de Vibraciones y Mecatrnica Centro Atmico Bariloche
Comisin Nacional de Energa Atmica Repblica Argentina
The Vibration & Mechatronics Laboratory in the Bariloche Atomic Center was created in 1984 as a part of the National Atomic Energy Agency, Argentina. It is also a part of the Balseiro Institute academic & research group. Our lab has provided solutions to industrial vibrations problems in nuclear and other power plants for the past 30 years The laboratory testing capabilities are wide and varied. Additionally we have active interaction with academia, nuclear facilities and main industrial clients.

With the implementation of the dynamic compensator device, the vibration level [RMS] has been reduced from 24 mm/s to 3.2 mm/s. In this condition the machine works with an appropriate vibration level according it size and power. The vibration level reduction has been achieved without modifying the structural integrity of the machine
Auxiliary Systems
Forced vibration in the End Winding: 100 and 500 Hz oscillating forces acting on the piece, simulating the excitation of the end winding on service. Areas are observed with stress concentrations.
