The 344 LS-2 Forestar Flotation series represents the most sophisticated tire design for application on Short-cut forestry (Cut-to-length) machines, such as Harvesters, Forwarders and Harwarders. High, wide and robust lugs with low lugs angle provide excellent grip working on wide range of forestry terrains, as well as, high traction forces necessary for Forestry operation. Strong LS-2 lugs enable efficient work without chains and bogie tracks, while large contact area efficiently protects the soil against excessive compaction. Strong steel breakers reinforce basic nylon tire structure providing an efficient puncture protection. Special durable Forestry tread compound, together with high under tread gauge and strong and thick sidewalls enables long and secure work in the forest.
