OPERATIONS
The dates allotted for work was from 2nd to 9th November 2011. By the 30th of October we created a target list of all the top graduate colleges in Bangalore City, this included degree colleges, engineering colleges as 25% of the current batch of 2012 included engineering students and top MBA coaching institutes. Next the list was iterated based on the availability of man days, popularity of the institutes and location. The team of 4 was divided into teams of 2 each for ease of operations and logistical convenience. Team 1 consisted of Rifath Aara and Ananya Mahapatra (Covered Bangalore East and North) Team 2 consisted of Rashi Chugh and Jaunita Jocelyn (Covered Bangalore East and South) Our first level discussions were with the officials of these target lists of colleges and institutes seeking permission to interact with their respective students within their premises during college hours. Then we divided all the work to be done in day to day tasks. It went as follows:

This project basically aimed at making students especially graduate students aware of SIMC. The awareness levels of the MBA program were poor. It required us to give a presentation to students about the course, curriculum and career prospects of joining SIMC. We also had to explain the differences in course structure and career prospects offered by the different post graduate programs namely the Masters in Mass Communications and Masters in Communications Management.
