Information Verification
1.1 Verify Student Information & Validate Email
Students will initially receive an email from Cisco regarding the Cisco training course and Certification exam. Section 2.1 provides instructions for students with reference to how they can verify their information and validate their email address.

Authorisation to Test
1.3 Authorisation to Test Details
Once the student completes the email validation process, a second email will be sent to the student containing Authorisation to Test details.
Steps:
1. 2. 3. Open the email titled Cisco Authorisation to Test Notification Verify the Exam Code, Exam Name, Authorised Testing Dates, Number of Attempts, your Name, and Cisco ID (shown below). Review the instructions for scheduling an exam. Note: Sections 4 and 5 below contain detailed instructions for Creating a Web Account and Scheduling a Test Appointment.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BOOKING YOUR EXAM To book your exam on the Pearson VUE Website, go to this address: http://www.pearsonvue.com/cisco This Web site provides more information about exams, programmes, and testing centre locations. To book your exam, first obtain a Pearson VUE Web account, username, and password. Follow instructions on the Web site to create an account and register for the exam. Once you set up your account, you can use it to review your exam information and also book, reschedule, and cancel exams. You will be able to select a date and time within the authorised testing dates listed above, at a testing centre near you. Do not call the testing centre directly. We encourage you to make an appointment soon, before all seats are taken. After booking the exam, you will be given instructions and sent a confirmation that includes exam and appointment information, directions to the testing centre, instructions on what to bring, and other pertinent information.
