Prototype-Based Image Search Re ranking Objective: This paper surveys the state of the art in recognition and retrieval

of mathematical expressions, organized around four key problems in math retrieval. Abstract: These methods fail to capture similarities among target images and user feedback. To overcome this problem existing methods combine relevance feedback and clustering. But clustering requires more number of expensive distance calculations. To remedy this problem we propose a new technique that combine canopy method, relevance feedback and improved k mean clustering. Canopy method reduces expensive distance calculation by measuring exact distances between points that occur in a common canopy. Improved k mean clustering automatically compute number of cluster and uses max min distance to reduce computational complexity. Relevance feedback captures exact user interest. The experiments show that our method is highly effective for image retrieval.. Existing System: 1. In a typical content based image retrieval system, target images are sorted by feature similarities with respect to the query. 2.These methods fail to capture similarities among target images and user feedback. To overcome this problem existing methods 3.To combine relevance feedback and clustering. But clustering requires more number of expensive distance calculations.

Disadvantages: 1.The main problem can be improved by analyzing the retrieved images using clustering method. 2. Cluster analysis is an unsupervised learning method that constitutes a cornerstone of an intelligent data analysis process. 3. It is the process of grouping objects into clusters such that the objects in the same cluster are similar where as objects in different clusters is different.

Proposed System: 1.We propose a novel image mining model to address three issues. First, we utilize a scalable region-based representation for an image. 2.Users can retrieve desired images according to their visual interesting. Second, we take users' intuition into consideration. 3.We design a such that users can select some important portions from an image and directly search the database. Also the relevance feedback can achieve a higher performance. 4.Third, the processes to search for interesting images can be treated as transaction records and be transformed into useful information. Through the data mining analysis, the system can discover the users' intentions in retrieving images. 5. The designing methodology is illustrated and the system performance is evaluated.

Advantages: 1.The discovered rules may in turn be used to improve the retrieval efficiency. 2.We exploit fuzzy clustering method and data mining model to design an image retrieval model. Block Diagram:
