AN EXAMINATION OF THE BENEFITS OF STAFF TRAINING ON ORGANIZATION COMMITMENT: A CASE STUDY OF GOOGLE

1 INTRODUCTION
This research study will look into the benefits of staff training on the organizational commitment. This topic serves as of critical importance because of the reason that training leads to great improvement in the performance of the firm by means of employee satisfaction and development. The technology industry in todays world witnessed growth. This requires the organizations to train their employees get the best performance from them and to achieve the highest level of commitment.

1.1 RATIONALE FOR THE STUDY


One of the most important subject areas is training and development, which now plays a key role being the most prominent and key area of an organization that in turn can result in improving the performance of an organization. Organizational commitment turns out to be a concept that can affect the performance of an organization. It is critical for the organizations to achieve the desired level of employee commitment for many reasons, which includes the performance of an organization, its productivity and reduces the turnover of employees. Training serves as to be of major importance when organizations are working on developing the level of organizational commitment of employees. This makes it all the more essential for the firms understand the benefit training the staff offers when it is about increasing the organizational level of commitment.

1.2 RESEARCH QUESTIONS


The research question for this research paper is as follows: Does benefits achieved from staff training lead to organizational commitment at Google Inc?

1.3 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY


Following research objectives are developed in accordance to the main theme of the research study. 1. To find what the literature says about the relationship between staff training organizational commitment 2. To identify whether training affects the motivation of employees at Google Inc and

3. To determine the main factors that can influence the organizational commitment of employees

2 OUTLINE OF PROPOSED RESEARCH METHODOLOGY


2.1 RESEARCH DESIGN This research study will use the explanatory research design because the main aim of this study is to analyze the staff behavior related to organizational commitment in perspective to training activities at Google Inc.

2.2 RESEARCH TYPE


This research will use the quantitative research and the data will be collected by conducting survey through a well designed questionnaire.

2.3 RESEARCH STRATEGY


For this research study, primary data are required and will be collected through survey questionnaires at Goolge Inc. This research study will use work from past researcher in order to form a literature review of this research study.

2.4 INSTRUMENT OF DATA COLLECTION


This research will use a questionnaire to conduct survey among the employees of Google. This questionnaire will have close-ended questions to collect quantitative data.

2.5 SAMPLE TECHNIQUE AND SIZE


For this research study, a sample size of 100 people from Google Inc will be used. This sample size will mostly consider the employees that had undergone trainings over the period. This research study will use a random sampling technique.

2.6 DATA ANALYSIS


The data in this research study will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. The data in this research study will be presented in the form of graphs and charts.
