has a capacity of 5,188 cubic feet. Greenbrier designed and built this hopper car for high mileage grain services. Four water-tight hatch covers seal a 47 8 x 24 trough opening. Discharge is through triple hopper openings. The design yields 89.4 cubic ft. per linear ft., one of the most volume efficient covered hopper cars in the industry today. All gate types are available to meet customer specifications.
