PRAYER AND PRAISE

Please continue to pray for Judy Miller as she recovers from her open-heart surgery. The doctors are pleased with her progress, but she has a long way to go before being pain free let alone cleared to run a marathon! Please pray that the church Kindy will be complete in every way by December 4th. Please pray for God's hand of blessing in the establishment of two upcoming ministries: 'The Playroom' Cafe and the 'Mainly Music' program. Both of these ministries are slated to begin shortly after the Kindy opens, and their leadership needs God's wisdom, guidance, and favour. Pray for a Viking Alliance short-term team that will arrive in the Republic of Congo, 4th November, to work with the Kinsoundi church teams in partnership evangelism.

Are you new to this facility?

We know that it can take a lot of energy to attend a new church, so please note that: The Childrens Ministry begins part way through the service. This is for children between the ages of 3 13 years. Information on who we are, as well as on all of our ministries are available online at www.whac.net.nz Each week, we share a cuppa together after the service, and would love for you to stay for a chat.

NEWS
Over the past number of weeks, Phyllis Charlton, Sharilyn Mordaunt, and countless other volunteers from other Massey churches have been sorting through the clothes and lollies that you provided for this year's Stars Party - and, quite frankly, we couldn't have done it without any one of you! So, on behalf of us all, thank you to everybody who either attended or volunteered, or donated items to help make this year's Stars Party as wonderful as it was! A big thank you to the McKeans as well for all of their hard work in planning and preparing for the Picnic in their Paddock! Neither of these events just 'happen on their own'; we really appreciate your care and effort! Do you glow in the dark? If so, then the WHAC beach day is for you! On Sunday, November 18th from 2:30, our church family will be meeting near the playground at Browns Bay beach for an afternoon of... well... whatever we want, and all are encouraged to attend! Bring a blanket, a cricket set, sand toys, sunnies and sun block so that you don't go from glowing white to glowing red throughout the afternoon. It will be loads of fun if you come along, so please do. Rain date: November 25th. I failed my marketing class When advertising a prayer ministry, you're supposed to use words like "power" or "warfare" or "a sweet and bless-ed time" to try to get people to come by emphasizing various (and legitimate) aspects of prayer. But, I'm horrible at marketing, instead friends: if you want to join the growing prayer movement at WHAC as we seek to move into the community to pray for them in intelligent ways, drawing them out of brokenness into wholeness in Christ, while submitting our church and ministry before the Lord for His empowerment and leading, please talk to Phil Ruston or Pastor Matt, and we'll get you connected.
