You have to take your prayer for prosperity by the horns

A prayer for prosperity in the hands of an experienced intercessor may be regarded as a weapon. When the power of God is unleashed there is nothing able to withstand it. Joshua is one of these mighty men of God who was able to accomplish great feats by leading others to victory while following closely to God. We are going to see this kind of faith in action as Joshua leads Israel into the Promised Land where they face their first and terrifying challenge: Jericho. Jericho was a fortified city. The mound or tell of Jericho was surrounded by a great earthen rampart, or embankment, with a stone retaining wall at its base. The retaining wall was some four to five meters (1215 feet) high. On top of that was a mud brick wall two meters (six feet) thick and about six to eight meters (2026 feet) high. At the crest of the embankment was a similar mud brick wall whose base was roughly 14 meters (46 feet) above the ground level outside the retaining wall. Humanly speaking, it was impossible for the Israelites to penetrate the impregnable bastion of Jericho.

Joshuas prayer for prosperity

God knows too well that the Israelites are afraid of fighting such an enemy, so He devises a plan where they will only have to demonstrate their unconditional trust in Gods power. The plan is very simple I am about to hand Jericho, its king, and its warriors over to you. All the soldiers will march around the city once a day for six days. Seven priests will carry rams horns ahead of the ark. But on the seventh day you must march around the city seven times while the priests blow their horns. When you hear a long blast on the horn, all the troops must shout very loudly. The wall around the city will collapse. Then the troops must charge straight ahead into the city.

In human terms this plan was complete madness. No wall is going to fall by being exposed to mere noise. The city had been built long enough to have endured many a storm whose lightning and thunder amply surpassed in decibels the petty spectacle that God was staging. I suppose that the inhabitants of Jericho were deeply amused for six days watching the funny parade of the revolving Israelites and their little band. Then came the seventh day and things turned ugly for the happy spectators on the wall. On the seventh day they got up at dawn. They marched around the city seven times the same way they had done it before. That was the only day they marched around it seven times. So the troops shouted very loudly when they heard the blast of the rams horns, and the wall collapsed. The troops charged straight ahead and captured the city. The prayer for prosperity of Joshua was answered in a demolishing way. The city was defenseless and all the Israelites had to do was to go forward. It seemed pointless to go around the city without actually engaging in battle, but the real struggle was in the hearts of Gods people. The real enemy was unbelief and disobedience. Joshua engaged first in this fight when deciding on passing Gods orders to the people. His position as a leader was yet a shaky one all the more after being appointed after the great Moses whose impressive record was still fresh in everyones mind. Joshua rises up to the task and boldly takes the bull by the horns. Gods instructions are to be carried out without the slightest deviation.

Your prayer for prosperity will be answered

Josiahs prayer for prosperity was answered because he honored God and obeyed His commands. Your prayer for prosperity will be answered if you see to it that these conditions are met.
