Dr. Adam Elmegirabs Bokers Bitters Bitters / 31.5% Scotland Overproof rum and botanicals including orange peel, quassia bark, catechu and cardamom. Originally created in 1828 by Johann Gottlieb Boker, the company closed during Prohibition in the 1920s. This re-formulation was released in August 2009. Maceration Seven botanicals macerated in overproof rum for no less than two weeks. Dilution - Diluted to bottling strength with Scottish water. Coloured with mallow flowers. Colour/Nose Copper coloured. Dr. Adam Elmegirabs Dandelion & Burdock Bitters Cocktail bitters / 42% Scotland Overproof rum and botanicals including dandelion root, burdock root, fresh ginger, citrus peel and star anise Unique bitters based on the flavour profile of Dandelion & Burdock dating back to the 1300s, this bottling was released in December 2009. Dr. Adam Elmegirabs Spanish Bitters Cocktail bitters / 38% Scotland Overproof rum and botanicals including chamomile, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander seed and orris root Originally available in the 1800s, this re-formulation was originally released as a Limited Edition in July 2010 but due to demand has returned as a permanent addition in February 2012 Maceration Eight botanicals steeped in overproof rum for no less than two weeks. Dilution Diluted to bottling strength with Scottish water. Coloured with caramel. Colour/Nose Copper coloured. Wood spice, chamomile and burnt citrus. Palate Initial sweetness followed by predominant chamomile and layers of complex flavour including coriander, raspberry, honey, citrus and pomegranate.
