And there is another reason why this social platform enjoys great recognition & fame: it is a celeb because people can find here everything they want, all kinds of information that interests them. And now you may be thinking, 'Yes, all but me'. If you want to know how to find the information you want on Twitter, read on... How Can I find the information I want on Twitter?

1. Go to the search tab (you can see it in the picture above where it says 'Search here'). Search for something. On the left you will see that several categories appear depending on your search. These can be: Tweets People Videos Images

2. I am looking for the 'nest' of the information. You can obtain retweet-free search results. You can use this Twitter shortcut: add -RT to your search - use it especially when you are searching for a popular term. 3. I want to find a tweet from a specific date. Then what you need is this shortcut: 'since:year-month-day'. For example, let's say I need to find something from the 15th of August 2010. I will make my search like this: 'since:2010-08-15'. There is also a reversed search option. If you want to find tweets up to a certain date, the shortcut you are looking for is: 'until:year-month-day'. 4. I want to find a specific person's tweets. Type from:username and you will find that person's all-time announcements on Twitter. 5. I'm interested in finding tweets which were sent from a mobile phone via SMS. In this case, the shortcut source:txt will help you find what you are looking for. It also works for when you want to find information from a certain client. 6. I only need tweets with links. In this case it is pretty simple; the shortcut you are looking for is filter:links. 7. I'm feeling sentimental today. Me too! This is why today I searched for feelings on Twitter using : ( and : ) faces. And I also searched for tweets which had questions in them using ?.

Useful Tip: You don't have to remember all these shortcuts, as

they are already in Twitter's Advanced Search page. Go there and bookmark the page - you'll have your Twitter map for shortcuts any time!
