TEACHER EDUCATION ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION

The UNESCO eAtlas of Teachers lets you visualize the gaps in the supply and demand for teachers at national and global levels. This eAtlas features a wide range of indicators produced by the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS). The Training Tool for Curriculum Development: A Resource Pack is intended to support specialists and practitioners involved in curriculum change and reform. The International Bureau of Education (IBE) emphasizes assessment and evaluation as a way to foster and improve the excellence, relevance and equity of education.

CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION

The Joint Programme proposes innovative approaches to accelerated learning that, through non-formal education opportunities, offers the chance to out-of-school children and illiterate adults (often living in difficult situations) to learn how to read and write in a month and complete the traditional primary education level by compressing the 5 year cycle into just ten months.

HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION

Launched on 18 January 2012, the UNESCO-USABrazil project Teaching Respect for All aims to design a curricular framework to fight racism and promote tolerance, which countries can adapt to their respective contexts and needs.
