TODAY, Id like to talk about Heaven. Obviously, Ive never been there yet. So I cant describe it to you. If I was able to make an ocular inspection of Heaven, you can be sure that I would have never gone back to Earth to tell you how it looked like. Unless I got kicked out by an Angel the size of a Sumo wrestler. My message today is not to tell you how beautiful Heaven is and why we should abandon what were doing now and rush to go there. Instead, my message is for you to find a way to see heaven everywhere. Even in your trials. Especially in your trials. Especially in your unanswered prayers. Especially when there is more sadness than joys. Especially when there are more questions than answers. Heres my message: Every pain in your heart contains a promise of Heaven. Every need that wont be met on Earth will be met in Heaven. Every desire that wont be fulfilled on Earth will be fulfilled in Heaven. Every dream that wont come true on Earth will come true in Heaven. Truly, Gods rewards program is unlimited. We need to see Heaven everywhere. We need to remind ourselves that Heaven is coming. Have a very wonderful Feast today! May your dreams come true,

YOURE an immortal being. light! You will never die. This is a bit difficult to swallow and accept because Do you not know that in a race all the runners run but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the we seem to be dying already. We see the undeniable prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict evidence whenever we look training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but at the mirrora few/many we do it to get a crown that will last forever. parts of our body have -1Cor 9:24-25 started to die already. Look at your hair, face, skin, and teeth. God is with you. Eng-joy Him, engDeath is all around us. People die. joy life! Our friends and relatives die. And their Have a fantastic Feast today! bodies get burned in an oven or get eaten by worms. Either way, their bodies In Christ, disappear from the face of the earth. Eartly Rewards Some of us avoid seeking God, as it may mean wed have to stop indulging ourselves in earthly treasures. But the truth is God uses these very treasures to bless us with material wealth. In continuation of the series on rewards, Bro. Eng talked about earthly rewards, which we can only enjoy if used for Gods glory. And sometimes, we may have to wait longer before we can bask in material abundance. This is where understanding the power and benefits of delayed gratification becomes very important. Dont give up what you want most for what you want now. Learning to plant before harvesting is very crucial. So Bro. Eng tells us to ask ourselves: Am I planting? The secret to success is continuous planting of hard work, patience, and pain. But prosperity comes with persecution, so know that others may not be pleased with your progress. Lets ask ourselves also: Am I harvesting? While some people dont feel they deserve to live in abundance that harvest time gets delayed, God actually wants us to enjoy our harvest. By: Eliond Albert Einstein said that there are only 2 ways to live. One is as if nothing is a miracle. The other is though everything is a miracle. But I learned that only in allowing the unexpected to happen can we truly experience lifes wonders. I rely on a to-do list to get through the day. Without it, Id be totally lost. But unknown to me, God is cooking up surprises that are not on my list but are going to make my day complete just the same. And so October 7, a Sunday, I had a schedule for the days activities. And topping the list was attending the Feast (which I joined in 2008). As expected, it was another awe-inspiring day for metouching songs turning me on in tears, making me feel like my soul is traversing another dimension. After the Feast, I went to Mt. Carmel Church to attend the mass, as scheduled. I wasnt consistently attending the mass, but I still went because Bro. Eng reminded us that doing so is our primary duty as Catholics. And Ive made the right decision because I was able to take away important life lessons from the priests teachings. His question What will you save first if you are stuck in a flood? hit me so hard and made me think of everything I value. I was so entranced that at the last song, I was still standing and singing while others are already leaving. Surprises kept coming and what transpired after the mass also blessed me in a certain way. I received a text message from a friend whom I havent seen in a long time. I was able to spend some time with my family againwith my siblings whom I seldom visited after a spat, with my younger brother who would update me on his life every now and then, and with my nephew whom I bonded with over a book on childrens arts. It was really a day filled with miracles. God works in mysterious ways. I am a to-do-list person, but by letting things run their course, I feel more like myselfliving in the moment.
