Case Title: Eastern international Food and Service Corporation

I.

Shortage of Labor will drastically affect potential sales for the next summer.

A. Employees morale has been dropping off 1. Attitude of the Eastern international employees had gotten steadily worse. 2. Eastern international employees morale had declined and some students quit. 3. Managers of the stand had been irresponsible and losing control of the subordinates.

B. Food percentage is rising. 1. Food cost were rising as a result of the amount. 2. Food cost were rising because of food theft and wasting. 3. Profit margins were declining.

C. Profit margins were declining. 1. Employees slowed their pace and failed to serve numerous customers. 2. Very high food cost would cause declining of profit. 3. Employees morale is dropping off it means very low performances.

Alternatives

A. Put up a systematic criteria and training for managers. 1. Advantages a. The managers will be trained. b. Their will be a proper criteria for those who wants to be a good manager. 2. Disadvantages a. Their will be a loss of managers and employees. b. More budget is allocated for the training of the managers.

B. Change the managerial system 1. Advantages a. Some managerial system problems will be solved.

2. Disadvantages a. Some of the employees do not want change on the managerial system.

C. Make the employees and managers to be more respectful and disciplined. 1. Advantages a. Managers will be more authoritative. b. Employees will look at managers as bosses. 2. Disadvantages a. Double effort for the employees and managers. b. Some employees and managers will not change.

III.

Recommendation ( Alternative A: Put up a Systematic criteria and training for managers.)

A. Major Justifications 1. Providing training for the manager would help the managers to become better. 2. Managers who trained are more equipped and physically and mentally ready. 3. Providing criteria would help the Pizzeria to have a good manager.

B. Minor Justifications 1. Managers are more disciplined and respected by the employees. 2. Employees would look up to managers who are well trained. 3. Managers can revised the system of a Perfect Pizzeria. 4. Managers have a increased in salary.

IV.

Implementation

A. 1. Rules will be given and if someone will not follow rules, sanctions will be given. 2. Discipline your employees, if they disrespect their managers. 3. Provide a criteria for managers and managerial trainees.

B. Other problems that recommendation does not remedy : 1. Employees would still want not to change the managerial system.
