WritingPromptsforMentors
Mentorsreceiveweekly iMentorProgramUpdatesfromtheirProgramCoordinator.These updatesaresenttomentorsonadesignateddayeachweek(usuallyonedaybeforementeeswill beemailingfromthecomputerlab).TheseProgramUpdatesareEXTREMELYIMPORTANT. WhattoExpectFromYourMentee
EmailFrequency
Allmentorsandmenteesarerequiredtoemail onceaweek.Usuallymenteessendthefirstemail oftheweeklycorrespondenceandmentorsarerequiredtorespond within48hoursofreceiving theirmenteesemail.Ofcourse,allmentormenteepairsareencouragedtoemailasfrequentlyas theywish.Manypairsemailmorethanonceaweek,dependingontimeavailability,thementees accesstotheInternetoutsideoftheiriMentorSession,etc.

EmailFormat&Content

GuidelinesforMentorResponses
LeadingtheRelationshipGettingoftoaGoodStartWithYourMentee
Itisthementorsresponsibilitytosetthetonefortheonlinecorrespondencewiththeirmentees.
