RECOGNITION
Rae Ann has been honored as the GA CEC Special Education Administrator of the Year, the Metro Atlanta Special Education Administrator of the Year, the G-CASE Lillie N. Moncus Outstanding Special Education Administrator and the CASE Outstanding Special Education Administrator. These honors were bestowed upon her for her pioneering leadership, as evidenced by her implementation of standards for education services for preschool children with disabilities and for a statewide endorsement for teaching preschool special education.

EXPERIENCE
Rae Anns experience in special education includes holding various positions at the state and local levels, as well as through her professional volunteerism and service in GCASE, GA-CEC and GAEL. Past positions include Special Education Administrator, Fulton County Schools; Coordinator, Preschool Special Education, Henry County Schools; and Associate Director and Preschool Special Education Consultant , Georgia Department of Education. With each job and service organization title, Rae Ann developed her reputation as an innovator and leader. Rae Ann has expertise in special education compliance, policy, program development, and instructional leadership.
