conference in March in Asheville! Make plans now to attend and cheer Teresa on!!! Presidents Message

Teresa, you were wonderful and we are so proud of you!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the holidays are here and the Election is over, so therefore it is time to move to happier and joyful times. First off, lets pray for your country to move forward in the direction that is best for all and pray for the leaders to come together across party lines to make this happen! We had a great turn out at State Convention this month which included Pam Grimes, Jeanne Hess, Tammy Ramsdell, Teresa Fannin, Joyce Mills and myself. And speaking for myself have to say I really had a great time and we came away with some ideas that we will share with you during our meeting on Tuesday night! The most important factor RAIP came away with, was the fact Teresa Fannin won the State CWC Speak Off and will be representing RAIP and NCAIP at Regional in March. Please help me in congratulating Teresa, as she did an outstanding job! I am excited, as we are having Katy Willett present the I-CAN Class on DOC, so please bring a guest and join us for the evening. Please remember to bring your wreaths and we will make a decision on where to deliver them to. I am excited to see everyones craft abilities! Looking forward to see you all ladies and still then be blessed! Janet R. Davis, CISR, CPIW, AAI, CRIS RAIP President 2012-2013

Remember Phyllis Diller?? Enjoy!! I can almost hear her laugh!

Housework can't kill you, but why take a chance? Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing up is like shoveling the walk before it stops snowing. A smile is a curve that sets everything straight. Best way to get rid of kitchen odors: Eat out. A bachelor is a guy who never made the same mistake once. Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight. I want my children to have all the things I couldn't afford. Then I want to move in with them. Most children threaten at times to run away from home. This is the only thing that keeps some parents going. My recipe for dealing with anger and frustration: set the kitchen timer for twenty minutes, cry, rant, and rave, and at the sound of the bell, simmer down and go about business as usual. Aim high, and you won't shoot your foot off. We spend the first twelve months of our children's lives teaching them to walk and talk and the next twelve telling them to sit down and shut up. Burt Reynolds once asked me out. I was in his room. You know you're old if your walker has an airbag. What I don't like about office Christmas parties is looking for a job the next day. Whatever you may look like, marry a man your own age - as your beauty fades, so will his eyesight. Old age is when the liver spots show through your gloves. My photographs don't do me justice - they just look like me.

My cooking is so bad my kids thought Thanksgiving was to commemorate Pearl Harbor. Tranquilizers work only if you follow the advice on the bottle - keep away from children. The reason the pro tells you to keep your head down is so you can't see him laughing. You know you're old if they have discontinued your blood type. It's a good thing that beauty is only skin deep, or I'd be rotten to the core. Phyllis Diller
