Our award winning Chef, Cheryl Powell has over 30 years experience in food service, over 20 years as an Executive Chef in the Grand Rapids area. We look forward to the opportunity of serving you and your guests. We strive to meet the needs of our clients, using the highest quality products, everything made fresh from scratch and from local vendors whenever possible. Our catering menu is always being added to and any special requests are always welcome. This gives us the opportunity to be creative, delivering unique menu options to you and your guests.

Catering Policies
Menu prices include standard linen for food tables or stations. All rental items are not included in the menu pricing. Menu selections must be finalized at least 14 days prior to the event date. All catering deposits are non-refundable. A guaranteed number of guests must be made ten (10 ) days before your event, and payment in full must be made at this time. After a guaranteed number is given you may increase your number but it may not be reduced. If a final number is not given, you will be charged for the original number of guests indicated on the catering agreement.
In cases where there is a minimum guest count, if the minimum number is not met, the client will be expected to pay the menu price for the minimum number. A twenty percent (20%) service charge will be applied to all food services. A six (6%) State of Michigan Sales Tax will be applied to all food, service charges and rentals. Kent County Health Department Regulations do not allow any food or beverages from an event to be taken from the event site. Grand Central Market is not responsible for the quality or temperature of food due to client delays. Grand Central Market will be happy to provide a tasting for your upcoming wedding reception. The tasting is limited to four guests. Additional guests may be added for an additional $30.00 per person fee plus 6% sales tax and 20% gratuity. Please contact Chef Cheryl for your tasting appointment.
