CLIMATE Cooled by gentle South Sea breezes, warm, tropical weather is enjoyed year-round. Average daytime temperature is 80F with median lows of 70F at night. TIME From Los Angeles, Tahiti is an 8.5-hour flight, Cook Islands is approximately 10 hours, and Fiji is an 11 hours. Tahiti and the Cook Islands share Hawaiis time zone (three hours behind Pacific Standard Time and two hours behind during Daylight Savings Time), and Fiji is 19 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time.

Eligible passengers may file a claim with TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services that the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded to you when required. The maximum amount that may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000. A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF. PASSPORTS AND VISAS U.S. citizens are required to possess a

valid passport that must be valid for at least six months after leaving Tahiti, Fiji or the Cook Islands. Citizens of all other countries may need a visa in addition to a valid passport and should consult the nearest French Consulate or French Embassy, Tourism Fiji or Cook Islands Tourism Corporation as early as possible. Travelers who are required to have a visa to enter Tahiti, Fiji or the Cook Islands should apply as early as possible since it can take several weeks to obtain a visa. It is solely the passengers responsibility to ensure that all required travel documents are complete and up to date for valid entry into the country.
