Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is bringing a Japanese environment and energy saving technology delegation to South Africa. This business delegation is comprised of Japanese companies that will offer their most advanced technologies for energy efficiency, water solution, waste management and renewable energy. Due to Japans large energy consumption in spite of its limited domestic natural resources, energy-efficient technology has been a focus area in both public and private sectors for many years. The aim of our forum is to promote business between Japan and South Africa to facilitate technology transfer. During this forum the technologies and business models of each Japanese company will be presented and business talks between South Africa and Japanese companies will be conducted in the form of business matching. This is a fantastic opportunity for South African companies to be exposed to Japanese technologies that can contribute to the improvement of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
