3. This Good News, does it really coming from God?

Who is the Author of the Bible? The Bible offers the hope that we can live forever on Earth. (Psalm 37:29) This Book is made up of 66 small books. The first five were written by Moses about 3,500 years ago. The last was written by the apostle John over 1,900 years ago. But the Bible writers wrote God's thoughts and not their own. So God is the Author of the Bible.2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21 (w11 1/1 p. 17) Is the Bible really God's Word? We know that the Bible is from God because it accurately foretells the future in detail. No man can do that. (Joshua 23:14) He only can foresee mankind's future with total accuracy.Isaiah 42:9; Isaiah 46:10 It is to be expected from a divine book its uniqueness. Such is the case with the Bible. It is available with billions of copies printed in hundreds of languages. When it touches on science, the Bible is scientific. Written by some 40 different individuals over a period of 1,600 years, the Bible follows one basic theme from beginning to end. Also, the Bible bears the unmistakable stamp of God's loving personality. It has the power to change people's lives for the better. These facts convince millions that the Bible is God's Word. 1 Thessalonians 2:13 What is the Bible about? The Bible speaks of the good news, that God will actually bring a wonderful future for mankind on earth. The Scriptures describes how at the start of human history, man lose the privilege to live on a paradise earth and how, eventually, paradise will be restored.Revelation 21:4, 5 The Bible contains laws, principles and helpful advice. It also tells about how God reacts to different circumstances, how he appreciates those who love him, and how he deals with those who leave him. How to become better acquainted wit him and come to know God as a Friend. Psalm 19:7, 11; James 2:23; 4:8. What can help you to understand the Bible? This publication will help you to understand the Bible as Jesus did. He referred to one Bible text after another and explained the meaning of the Scriptures. Luke 24:27; 45. Few things are as fascinating as the good news coming from God. Yet, some may not be interested in it or even be annoyed. Do not be discouraged. You can have everlasting life if you continue to learn about God. John 17:3.
