Assignments, Tasks & Schedules

All Your Activity Information at a Glance
When you have a reliability program that consists of multiple inspection strategies carried out by multiple employees, managing day-to-day activities can be a chore. On top of that, you may have RCA or RCM activities or criticality assessments that involve your reliability engineers and technicians, which may be above and beyond their normal scope of work. How do you see and manage the schedule? How do you see that work is in process, ready to be started, or scheduled in the future? This can very difficult to do, especially when you have to go to multiple sources to gather all of this information.

WORK EXECUTION

MANAGERS CAN SEE ALL EMPLOYEE ACTIVITY

iReliability has a user interface that allows you and your employees to see all of this information at a glance. From the Work Execution tab, a user can see all regularly scheduled work that is in process, ready to start, or slated to start in the future. A Specialized Set Of Hierarchy Locations

Assets Viewed Multiple Ways
Depending on your role or area of responsibility in your business, you will most likely have the need to view reports and metrics based on a specialized set of hierarchy locations in your database. These locations may be groups of equipment that make up a cost center, system, or area in a facility that is not explicitly represented in the database hierarchy itself. Unfortunately, a database hierarchy cannot be all things to all people. Users on the accounting side of the organization may be used to looking at equipment/assets structured in a certain way and named a certain way, while users on the operations side may be used to seeing things presented differently.

ALIAS MAPPING

NECESSARY ASSOCIATIONS BY ASSIGNING AN ALIAS

Regardless of the circumstances, iReliability provides functionality that will allow you to make the necessary associations by assigning an alias to a location or group of locations in the database hierarchy. Aliases are alternate names that may include CMMS Numbers, Departments, System IDs, Cost Centers, etc. For instance, there may be a group of locations within the database hierarchy structure that make up a Department. However, this Department may not be represented in the hierarchy itself. In order to allow a user who needs to have this Department rolled up in reports and metrics, a Department alias would have to be assigned to these locations. Once the Department alias is assigned, reports and metrics can be generated against the Department alias.

Once again, the goal is to accommodate the needs of all users. Aliasing provides a means by which to do just that.

Benefits:
Full flexibility in interpreting your database hierarchy when generating various reports and metrics Locations may be assigned alternate names specific to a user, area of responsibility, or process Alias names are manageable and may be edited or removed as needed Database queries can be keyed off of alias names, which enhances the overall flexibility of the database

Add/Edit/Move
Hierarchy Serves As A Foundation
Every company wants to be the low-cost producer of superior products that generate maximum profits. However, not every company can get there, or even knows how to get there. iReliability understands the challenges our clients face, and we can show them the way to best practices and total reliability. That journey begins with the development of a total asset management plan. Many companies have some form of equipment list, but often it is not as complete as it should be. Developing a thorough equipment location hierarchy serves as a solid foundation for the successful implementation of a total asset management plan. iReliability has the tools and features that ensure you can build an accurate and sustainable location hierarchy.

HIERARCHY

UNLIMITED HIERARCHY: ACCURATE REPRESENTATION

First, the iReliability database hierarchy is ISO 14224 compliant. With a comprehensive equipment type and parts list, the unlimited levels of database hierarchy ensure that the client facility business structure can be accurately represented. You can build what you need, regardless of your industry or business. Hierarchy locations in iReliability are easily managed with the ability to edit existing location names and associated information, such as criticality rankings, machine types, or equipment types as needed. As your facility and reliability program grow, new hierarchy locations can be created as well with the simple user interface provided in iReliability. iReliability realizes that the management of a database hierarchy is a very dynamic thing hierarchy changes all of the time.

As an example, in many business situations, equipment is transferred from one area of a facility to another or processes and systems change. In iReliability, your database hierarchy can be managed and restructured by simply dragging and dropping hierarchy locations from one area of the database to another. All associated information and location history is maintained and will follow the move. In short, you are not limited to a static hierarchy. You have all of the tools necessary to manage your data.

Benefits:
Unlimited levels of database hierarchy available for use Easily manage existing locations and add new locations with a simple user interface Drag and drop locations as needed to accommodate facility restructuring Access reports by area with a simple right click Asset Health indicators convey machinery health at a glance

Route Execution
Gather Data on Equipment
Often there is a need to gather process, performance, inspection, or test data on equipment. Usually, this data is gathered with a pencil and clipboard and maintained either on paper or in an Excel spreadsheet. Data is lost in the shuffle, the data has no integrity, and finding the data from a month or a year ago is next to impossible. The iReliabilityTM Mobile Route Execution module allows for the creation of quantitative and qualitative data points for any location in your database. These points may be grouped into routes, scheduled as jobs, and accessed for completion using a mobile device with a web browser.

MOBILE

COMPREHENISVE VIEW OF EQUIPMENT HEALTH

Once a mobile route is completed, data is reviewed and locations are assessed as to their current Asset Health state. The mobile route reports and data are integrated with other condition monitoring strategies and technologies that are deployed in the database. The result is a comprehensive view of equipment health in your facility. Work is executed, and the results are maintained in a single database. No more lost data; the acquisition process is repeatable each and every time, and all of your historical data is housed in one convenient location that can be accessed at any time.

Benefits:
Create custom defined quantitative and qualitative data points with custom alarming that are specific to your business and processes Access Mobile Routes with a mobile device for in-field entry of measurement results The historical results of each data point are stored in the database; trends and tracking are at your finger tips Mobile Route results are integrated with other condition monitoring activities making Mobile Route Execution a part of your condition monitoring strategy If desired, iReliability can provide barcode identification of data points to increase the speed, accuracy, and repeatability of data collection activities

Assignments, Tasks & Schedules

An Entire Suite of Reports
iReliabilityTM has an entire suite of standard reports available to the user. Each report arms the user with the information necessary to facilitate the execution of a successful reliability initiative. Reliability programs are comprised of multiple strategies that are deployed simultaneously. Each strategy has its own methods of data acquisition and the analysis of that data is being presented from many sources at the same time. Many times, there is no standardization or format and the nomenclature can vary from source to source. It can be a logistical nightmare. Unfortunately, most people get bogged down trying to correlate this information and fit it into an integrated format so they can see the big picture of what is going on.

REPORTING

Asset Health
Asset Health Report is the cornerstone measurement of the Reliability Initiative. What percent of the assets are healthy or code GREEN? The key to the Asset Health Report is identifying all of the appropriate inspection methods that need to be applied, at what frequency, and what alarm criteria to apply, i.e. the PdM program design. Once the inspection has been completed, and the results have been compared against a comprehensive alarms strategy that utilizes best practice, industry standards, and Statistical Process Control, Asset Health Codes of Red (Unhealthy), Yellow (Under Review), or Green (Healthy) can be assigned. This is referred to as the Asset Health Report. The Asset Health Report integrates the reporting results of all technologies deployed in the reliability program. Utilizing the Asset Health Report, the user can instantly see where he/she stands from a healthy versus unhealthy standpoint. From here, the user can drive the necessary

MANAGEABLE RESULTS THROUGH STANDARDIZATION

iReliabilityTM has taken all of that work off of your shoulders. When your resources execute work and enter results into your iReliabilityTM database, the work flow is the same, regardless of the user. The results are manageable because the formatting and nomenclature are standardized. The integration is a breeze because iReliabilityTM handles it for you. No more building reports based on results from multiple sources. iReliabilityTM has you covered. iReliabilityTM provides the following standard reports...

Asset Health | Integrated Fault Entry | Monthly Scorecard | Condition Assessment Assignment

work flow to achieve the desired results. Key features of the Asset Health Report are: Comprehensive filtering and sorting allows a user to see the Asset Health Report that applies to his/her area of responsibility Exportable to MS Excel Graph features let you see your Asset Health percentages visually Asset Health results for individual technologies are rolled up into a plant overall state for each location on the report Navigate to the details of a Red asset to see why the asset is in that state

as well as any illustrations that have been provided to fully communicate the identified defect. Armed with this information, planners and schedulers can make sound decisions based on the entirety of the information available. When a repair has been completed, status comments can be entered against the location in the Integrated Fault Entry Report. With a status of Repair Complete, a followup inspection can be scheduled from the Integrated Fault Entry Report to validate the repair. As a result, a database location in a Red, or unhealthy, status on your Asset Health Report can be updated to a status of Green, or healthy. Integrates fault information regardless of technology or inspection method Communicates all details and linked information (images, documents, etc.) of each fault entry Allows for status comment updates Allows for Repair Complete status updates Follow-up inspections can be scheduled from the Integrated Fault Entry Report Exportable to MS Excel

Integrated Fault Entry Report

Planning and scheduling repair work can be challenging when you have multiple fault identification strategies in place. Inspection results are being delivered at different frequencies and this information can be very difficult to correlate. The end result is that you lose the power of the information that you have in your hands. Multiple inspection methods may be identifying the same failure mode, telling you that you have an issue with a critical piece of equipment. Being able to integrate and view this information is a crucial step in deciding how to attack and correct to problem. Not having this ability results in missed opportunities and a lag in planning and scheduling repairs that may be critical in nature, compromising your assets and your productivity. iReliabilityTM gives our users the ability to integrate and view all fault entry information, for all database locations, in a single report. The Integrated Fault Entry report allows a user to see analysis comments and repair recommendations,

Monthly Scorecard
What makes a Reliability Initiative successful? More importantly, what information should you track to measure or gauge that success? Knowing where you have been, where you are, and where you are going is not as difficult as it may sound. iReliabilityTM has developed a Monthly Scorecard that is built around a specific set of metrics that will assist in determining the progression of your Reliability program.

Trend results over a user-defined date range View historical scorecard reports Compare trend and data results across multiple departments Exportable to MS Excel

Condition Assessment Assignment Report

When you have multiple inspection strategies in place and the results of those inspection strategies are coming from multiple sources, your ability to maintain some form of standardization in terms of reporting becomes difficult to manage. Report formatting, nomenclature, and what information is or is not included on an inspection report are all issues that can add to confusion, inefficiencies, and loss of critical data. iReliabilityTM utilizes a single job creation and reporting interface that is used regardless of which inspection strategy is deployed. The result is standardized reporting that ensures you get the same results and set of information each and every time you view a report. Standardized reporting for all fault entries Standardized reporting format regardless of inspection strategy Printable to PDF

The key components of the Monthly Scorecard are centered around the health of your facility (Asset Health), identified faults and the mitigation of those faults, and the efficiency of your inspection methods coverage (route adherence). You will be able to track and trend Asset Health to see how the health of your facility has been improving or declining over time. You will be able to track and trend how many new faults your inspection strategies have identified, as well as how many existing faults they have re-identified. You can track and trend the percentage of database locations that are inspected during the month versus the number of locations that were scheduled to be inspected. The Monthly Scorecard will allow you to trend results and view historical data over any date range of your choosing, and you will be able to compare trend results across multiple departments in your database, as well. The end result is a tool that provides the necessary data to help you drive continuous improvement and define the goals that determine success in your organization. Track results by department Track results by technology and/or inspection method

Specialized Sets of Data

Compare Multiple Databases
iReliabilityTM has a comprehensive slate of reports that assist the user in gathering information that will ultimately drive a successful reliability program. However, there may be times when a user wants a specialized set of data that is not available in a standard report or a user may want to compare information from multiple databases. It would be virtually impossible to anticipate and build an out- of-the-box set of reports that would meet all of our users needs. In reality, everyone has their own needs, areas for improvement, or priorities that dictate what data they need to view in order to make an informed decision. These needs also change over time. What was an issue or priority last year may be a non-issue today. We have new priorities and issues to resolve all of the time. To address this issue, iReliabilityTM has an added feature that allows
