Net Shortchange 1) Starcomms' deceptive advertising literature for the N32,000 I have spent has shortchanged me by 25GB of data

and 45 days. For the avoidance of doubt: Starcomms is a leading CDMA service provider and cannot claim to be unaware of w hat Unlimited internet service means, neither can Starcomms claim not to have kn own the. 2) Starcomms ommission of the 15Gb data cap from all product literature, whilst having placed such information in an obscure part of their website is suggestive of a deliberate plot to decieve Nigerian internet subscribers, and when they co mplain refer them there, whilst such critical information should be on every adv ertising literature for such service. 3) At no time was I informed that I would be disconnected at 15GB. 4) All 3 times I as 5) None of the promotional literature, leaflets and or documentation advertising the Always On service suggests, mentions or even remotely alludes to the existe nce of any data cap of any sort.

which is not the case,

The deliberate ommission of such a critical piece of information either is misle ading at best and fraudulent at worst. prior to purchase, If Starcomms is unwilling to avail me the internet service I have paid for, for the full duration of 30 days as advertised by Starcomms, then Starcomms will be deemed to have failed in offering the service as advertised. Hence I shall be left with no option but to return your modem for a full refund of: 1) N15,900 which I paid for the defective 1 month "Always On" internet subscript ion. 2) The purchase price of the izap modem (since unwillingness to rectify the serv ice disruption will be indicative of the fact that I was deceived by Starcomms's misleading product literature to buy a service which does not offer what Starco mms warranted in the product literatur that it would) That done I also respectfully request your corporation update your advertising l eaflets to reflect the existence of a data cap at 15GB. APPENDIX II ANALYSIS:

Total Spent = N 32,000 [Data afforded me: 15Gb] in 15 days ALternative: If I wasnt deceived by Starcomm's deceptive literature, that same N32,000 would have afforded me: 2 units of Visafone's 20Gb plan * N15,999 and that would have been a total of 40 GB of data across 60 days.

This is disheartening because, my repeated complaints to the Technical Officer i n charge of transmission at your Wuse II office, (that my internet service is ex cruciatingly slow and unusable [avg 4 to 11KBps on EVDO mode] during all week da ys, for the approximate hours between 9:21am and 6:14pm) have been apparently ig nored. The matter was still unresolved as at 2-days ago when my subscription was suspended. This being a significant complaint given that I live on Takwa Cresce nt, Wuse II, less than 40 houses away from your Wuse II head office.
