How To Install Free Professional Medical Spellchecker/ Dictionary For MS Word


Scope of publication: This article will be handy for all medics involved in writting thesis, case reportsand articles for Journals and to the members of our organisation who are involved in Teleradiology reporting.

Introduction: Do you get frustrated when Microsoft Word does not recognize Medical Terms or Syndromes and you have to add these every time to the inbuilt custom dictionary of MS Word by right clicking and adding? Do you have to search for correct spellings? To avoid such annoyance and reduce chances of typographical errors, a solution would be to install a medical spell checker/ dictionary. A number of medical dictionaries are available online and on Amazon Book Store, however, the most reliable (and Free) dictionary is discussed below: Installation Instructions: 1) Vist the following website: http://mtherald.com/free-medical-spell-checker-formicrosoft-word-custom-dictionary/ 2) From the website, download MTH-Med-SpelChek to your desktop and unzip the content MTH-MedSpelChek.dic 3) Follow instructions of the software developer Raj from his above mentioned website to transfer this dictonary
