1.1 BACKGROUND OF PROBLEM Social media starts when the development of the internet growing by leaps and bounds , Maybe In the current era of globalization all people know what is the internet. intenet began in 1969 when the Department of Defense, U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) decided to conducted research about how to connect a computer forming an organic chain. This research programme known as ARPANET. In 1970, it has been more than 10 computers are successfully connected aeach other so they can communicate with each other and form a network. the longer the internet is open to the public. precisely in 1990 when Tim Berners Lee invented the program editor and a browser that could roam from one computer to the other computers, which make up the network. The Program is called WWW (world wide web) . The history of Facebook started when Mark Zuckerberg ( a student semester II Harvard University) make a site contact partner for fellow campus. Zuckerberg is inspired from the site Hot or Not site name Facemash.com. Methods of this site that is showing two photos of the couple (man and woman), where the next two couples will be selected by the members of the site where the couple was the most "hot". Well, for showing photos of the couple on this site, Zuckerberg is attempting by all means look for photographs of his partner in a way round the ' door to door ' to ask for photos. Twitter was founded by three people, namely Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams in March 2006. And the newly launched in July the same year. 2.1 Negative effect of social media social media has a lot of impact to some people. some of them are harmful, but there is also a positive impact for most people who take advantage of social media with reasonable without breaking social norms.
