The Vice Principal Academic will be responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing the academic master plan and supervising all of the Colleges instructional programs, education support resources, student services, and all teaching personnel. The Vice Principal is also responsible for building an evidence-based culture, and working collaboratively with the staff in developing action steps that implement the Colleges Strategic Plan. Strong candidates will distinguish themselves by their leadership qualities and their commitment to result. Success in this role requires a collaborative leadership style that can build consensus in a highly collegial environment; energy, vision, integrity; and above all a deep commitment to and clear affinity for the vision and mission of Al-Hijrah College. Key Responsibilities Collaboratively and continually monitor the academic master plan implementation. Effectively work with staff to ensure that the goals of the Colleges Strategic Plan are implemented. Oversee students development activities and programs that enrich and support students life. Plan, develop, and implement a program of curriculum review and development for all instructional areas, and educational outcomes and assessment programs. Oversee compliance with regulatory agencies. Identify and coordinate curriculum growth in response to the educational needs of the college. Oversee and interpret academic standards and policies of the college to students, staff, and parents. Confer with parents and staff to discuss educational activities, policies, and student behavioral or learning challenges. Observe teaching methods and examine learning materials to evaluate and standardize curricula and teaching techniques, and to determine areas where improvement is needed.

Vice Principal Academics

Collaborate with teachers to develop and maintain curriculum standards, develop mission statements, and set performance goals and objectives. Coordinate the process of primary and supplemental staff engagement - hiring, training and evaluation. Evaluate curricula, teaching methods, and programs to determine their effectiveness, efficiency, and utilization, and to ensure that school activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Counsel and provide guidance to students regarding personal, academic, vocational, or behavioral issues. Establish, coordinate, and oversee particular programs across school districts, such as programs to evaluate student academic achievement. Set educational standards and goals, and help establish policies and procedures to carry them out. Plan and lead professional development activities for teachers, administrators, and support staff. Profile: o Bachelor degree, preferably in Mathematics Education. Accounts Officer

This position is responsible for providing a functional and operational management for the College receivables and payables Accounts in a timely and efficient manner, for duly authorized /approved transactions, and reports as well as maintaining up to date records of cash, cheque, assets, payroll and general financial transactions. Success in this role requires a deep commitment to and clear affinity for the vision and mission of Al-Hijrah College. Key Responsibilities Maintains accounting records of financial transactions for various operating activities of the College. Conducts audits of accounting transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policy guidelines and relevant governmental regulations. Ensure that records of expenditures, reimbursements and revenues are up to date. Monitors accounting events to ensure that they occur timely. Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses. Prepares monthly general ledger close journal entries and supporting reconciliations. Handle balancing and reconciliations of Bank Accounts statements. Monitors accounting events to ensure that they occur timely. Ensures prompt settlement of all outstanding accounts according to contract terms. Engage in collaborative activities with staff, students, and Parents and/or the general public to ensure that information and performance standards are achieved and maintained. Logistics Officer

Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, procurement and facility management. Participate in procurement, Negotiation, lead times and other contractual terms. Seek, evaluate and recommend reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality logistics services at best prices. Ensure appropriate terms of engagement of vendors or suppliers. Manage delivery processes, timing and schedules. Working with other staff and students to forecast demand for logistics services and to ascertain that deliveries are done promptly and documented. Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, service logs Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations. Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability. Direct operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives. Negotiate transportation rates or services. Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, product volumes or mixes. Advise on required areas of improvement to enhance Logistics processes Profile: o B.Ed. or HND (Business Study)- Economics or other Social Science or related discipline. Responsible for students well-being. Interact with students individually, or in groups, assessing their situations, capabilities, and challenges, to determine what services are required to meet their needs. Serve as liaisons between students, homes, schools, family services, child guidance unit services, doctors, and other contacts, to help students with unique challenges Maintain history records and prepare reports. Counsel parents with students upbringing uniqueness, interviewing the child and family to determine whether further action is required. Counsel students whose behavior, school progress, or mental or physical condition indicate a need for assistance.

Experience with children and an understanding of the pastoral aspects in a o NCE/ HND/BA/BSc preferably in Guardian/ Counseling or in any related discipline. Similar experience in a boarding school and/or Postgraduate qualifications in Child psychology will be an added advantage. o A warm and nurturing personality, yet able to enforce stipulated discipline when required. o Disciplined, honest with high level of integrity with positive influential personality. o Excellent communication skill.
